Here are some things I'd like to recommend: >Quinoa, (a great substitute for rice, low in calorie, simple to make, perfect for a side dish for dinner with lean meat like chicken or fish and/or steamed veggies) >a bowl of plain Greek yogurt with berries and/or granola (buy these things in bulk and it'll last you for a while. And it's good you're eating berries, keep buying them.) >Cashews, Almonds, Trail Mix, Avocados = good for snacking. These are ''good fats.'' >Try more exotic fruits (kiwi, mango, grapefruit, pomegranate, persimmon, etc.) for dessert or that sugar craving. >Green Tea (Has many benefits, the taste might require some getting used to but you can add honey to it.) I'm proud of you Brendan. Keep going. These were just my suggestions so that new food items keep your diet more interesting because you don't want to get bored of eating the same things, routinely.

This is amazing Brendan - you've done such a good job. I can totally see a difference. I actually have been a bit AWOL from KZbin because of work so haven't seen your vids for a while so when I ambled on over today I was like "whoa"....great job, v. inspiring!

hey Brendan I'm glad you have been keeping up with the calories in the food you eat i do the same thing i try to stay away from fried foods and hamburgers and all that .. I've been eating a lot of fruit here lately so keep up what your doing man !

I'm really proud of you Brendan. Great job. One thing I will say in my own life experience. As you lose a lot of weight, it is important to eat protein (meats, eggs, cheese, yogurt, beans etc) and lift weights. If you eat 1750 cals on average you will lose muslce mass along with all the fat. Eating protein and lifting weights will help keep the muscle on you so you look ripped instead of 'skinny-fat' if that makes sense. Keep up the great work man.

seems like just learning more and more every vid i watch. ur gonna laugh at some of this the more advanced u get tho. i like how u arr easing into the healtht lifestyle. cant be an overnight change. and as others have said u look MUCH healthier. i knew even bavk then eventually u would attempt to lose wright but i have to say im impressed with your progress i wanna see u in a vid with jeremy jahns tho! that would be dope. btw try ALMOND MILK plain unsweetened! u miiight not enjoy at first cuz i didnt but i love it now.

Always love these weight loss journey videos. Thank you very much for making this after all the requests, it was really interesting. Wish we had a Trader Joe's in the UK. Sorry about some of the rude comments complaining about what you eat. It's so much easier & cheaper to buy canned food or pre-packaged so I can relate. Well done so far!

Congrats on the weight loss dude and it shows in these videos. I try to eat healthy as well the Nature Valley granola bars are really good,eating bananas, apples yogurt and low caloric meals will help you right along the way to weight loss.

thanks for doing this video brendan. do you use trackers like myfitnesspal to keep track of all the calories you eat or do you do it by hand? really good to see you making smart choices. like you said, some of the stuff isn't the healthiest, but it doesn't matter as long as your calories in are always less than calories out. keep it up!

Hey Brendan. TJs is a great store. I actually work at one. The veggie chips are so dope. I don't know how they compare calorie wise. When I cut weight, fried veggies/stir fry for dinners always satisfy me. Especially night time cravings. Your kicking ass dude. I'm excited to see how pumped you are also. It's inspiring me to stay on track too.

by the way strawberries are unbelievable. That whole pound is only about 150 calories. Berries are gold for weight loss. Expensive though..

Awesome job buddy keep it up! Also calories is great but even the healthy soups and the chicken have a ton of sodium cut back on the sodium and loose more weight cause the sodiums retaining a lot of the water your drinking(water weight) either way if u keep it up I know you'll surpass your goal by your birthday!

your doing fantastic, but watch out for fruit natural sugars, but you have to give yourself treats sometimes, and start doing some weight training for body toning so you wont be left flabby, this is not being horrible, cuase i have to do this, you are doing brill and you are an inspiration, this is only advice ,im doing the same shit, im now down to 14. 7 stone, still a fat bastard but at least were having ago, cheers and good luck, andy.

also keep in mind high fat content, sugar intake, protein. and salt intake. not just calorie counting. you gotta keep your heart and other insides healthy also.

I got the app MyFitnessPal when i started tryin to lose weight and trust me it works! U just type in what u r having to eat and it tells u how many calories sugar grams fat anything else in it. Then as u go on thruout the day it tells u how many calories u have left and other things. Heavily recommend it. I tried it and lost 4 lbs in a week just by seeing how much i was truly eating.

Try using almond milk in cereal sometimes and more fruit/veggies is always good. Great work so far though you are doing so well

Blackberries are very low in calories and high in fiber. They're great. I usually put them into my orange protein gelatin. You can always use MyFitnessPal or look online what the calories are.

Get yourself an electronic food scale! Most food have the nutrition facts in weights; you can measure the exact amount of your snacks, cereals, etc and it will save you a heckload of time.
