It's so heartening to see New Zealand come together and take such decisive action against the terror attacks you guys faced. Jacinta sure is an incredible PM, I wish Australia had a government like yours. God only knows how ours would have reacted to such an event in Australia. Stay strong
@jkprez5 жыл бұрын
Chelsea....you had a horrific shooting back in 1996 if I got the year right. The government proceeded to ban heaps of guns and bought any guns back to get rid of them off the street. That was a pretty good reaction if you ask me. Are you too young to remember this event?
@GoogleAccount-qr6ox4 жыл бұрын
Jacinda is terrible just like National party members. Failing on all her flagship campaign policies, housing shortage, homelessness, suicide, irresponsible migration rates and inequality all going up on her watch. Wearing a hijab and hugging people doesn't help kiwis, don't insult us by telling us how great she is. We don't care how bad Australian politicians are, that doesn't help us either.

we ARE a big melting pot of all different cultures and ethnicities - while at the same time celebrating our differences -
@juliaconnell5 жыл бұрын
@Elisa Castro - I don't think that's fair or accurate when referring to New Zealand - New Zealand very much as has a culture of our own while at the same time we welcome our fellow New Zealanders from different backgrounds - their celebrations remain theirs, and become ours like the Chinese Festival of Lights www.aucklandnz.com/lantern-festival or Indian Diwali www.aucklandnz.com/auckland-diwali-festival
@jemmaj29195 жыл бұрын
@Elisa Castro i hope you mean the maori culture of the native polynesians? And not the criminals we brits used to send to australia and made their way to new zealand! Cuz if the latter, then just like our criminals can bring our culture in, so can others!

Hokey Pokey is what's in Crunchie bars. It's literally sugar, baking soda and golden syrup. You can make it yourself.
@meganmills65454 жыл бұрын
Yes - but the hokey pokey in our ice cream is different again, it's like little "asteroids" of something the colour of hokey pokey but with a harder texture, like what you get when a sugar syrup is taken to the hard snap caramel stage. I don't know if that's a transformation of what happens to bicarb hokey pokey when it is put in ice-cream or what they get when don't add the bicarb to the sugar syrup, or something else. It would be fun to experiment though!
