There are actually behind the scenes shots from the Bourne movies that actually show Matt Damon doing the choreography without the shaky cam and they were pretty good.

After some thought. We must give respect to the Peking Opera who produced such talent like Jackie and the other "dragons" like Samo Hung, Yuen Biao and many other fantastic performers. Having martial arts skill is great. But presenting it is where Theater comes in. To them the camera IS the audience that is why their action is well framed like a stage play.

He didn't do his own stunts, do to his age (he's in his 60's), and liability issues. They also changed up the way he fights so that it had more of a "military" flavor, since his character is supposed to be ex-military (in the novel on which the script was based, he's supposed to be a Vietnamese guy who fought for BOTH sides during the Vietnam war); so there will be "Kung fu" fighting, but it'll probably be straight to the point.

This trailer reminds me of one of my favorite quotes: "Demons run when a good man goes to war." This trailer left the same impression John Wick left on me. Out of nowhere, I saw a trailer of a movie I had heard nothing about and I was completely in love. A small budged film that comes out of left field and surprises people. I hope it achieves a similar success.

Putting him in a stereotypical action setting... Well its gonna be interesting since he's an amazing actor. Just hope the plot is not as predictable as most western blockbuster action flicks. Oh who am I kidding: The setting and humanizing of his character will *make the movie*. It's a well needed breath of fresh air for the genre.
