The Front End TILTS!! - 55 Build - Video 13

While this may not seem like a HUGE accomplishment... it is!! The front end on the 55 Quest for the Sixes build is attached, fitted, and tilting. Think.... Two Lane Blacktop old school meets the 21st Century. You don't typically seem a tilt front end on cars that are running these projected speeds and e.t.s. But, the idea behind this was that this allows for a single person to raise or lower it to check fluids or even work on it rather than have to have another person to help lift up the front end and take it off. But! If we really want it removed and out of the way, that is an option as well. Tilt-able and removable... win-win!
As always a HUGE thank you to these great companies for being a part of this build and video series!

I didn't read all the comments to see if anyone else touched on this BUT one thing comes to mind as we watch Dennis walk us through the fab of this amazing tilt front end,, there's no computer program or computer 'mock up'. Dennis has the finished tilt mechanism IN HIS MIND. He does the mock up IN HIS MIND, searches for and solves the majority of the issues IN HIS MIND. Then he executes with precision and no wasted materials or time. People, we're watching a Master Craftsman at work here. Awesome work Sir!!
