If you're wondering about the heavy rock music at 13:05, that's our bad 🙈 -- In that section Samir is asking Michelle if the Marines have a lot of say in how the edit comes together. Anyways, thanks for watching and following along even when we make mistakes 🙌🏼 🙌🏾

hot take on this comment maybe, and i love the try guys but this seems like this is valuing what she is doing by her relation to successful men. like calling a successful woman the “wife of xyz also famous man” instead of her being successful in her own merit
@RealTalkAlexV Жыл бұрын
@@alexgoeke8709 eh that’s reaching.. they only said that cause they also came from buzzfeed and do the same style of content. Just cause they happen to be men doesn’t really mean anything lol, they would make the same comparison of the try guys were the try girls and as big as the try guys are now

Incredible video! Not only a huge ammount of Michelle's life and videos behind the scenes, but also priceless entrepreneurship insights - not only in the YT space, but also in general! Taking yourself serious and being professional in a space where 99% of all creators are selling themselves out for the clicks, is more than admirable. Having this mature approach towards your content, your crew, your sponsorships and most importantly your audience, is what each and every creator should aim for! And I'm talking for both Michelle's and Colin and Samir's channels! Props to all of you, guys! It's 3 a.m. right now and I don't regret a second of watching this video! If you haven't, you should do so!

Again in this video, it is abundantly clear, that people are so hung up on race, and can't stop talking about it. The fact that a tiny Indian woman, who has lots of talent and puts in the time, can create probably one of the highest quality KZbin channels, can complete as a professional athlete, basically means all races can do it all. The fact that Michelle was the only (half) Indian girl doing professional cycling, and one of the few ethnic girls, does not mean racism is at the root of the low amount of Indian or ethnic people in the pro cycling scene. It is always stated or implied this is due to racism. Percentage wise Indians are not one of the largest ethnic groups in the USA. Cycling is a sport only a few people do and only a handful of people watch or keep track of. And just because 1 ethnic person is on a sports team, might therefore also mean that there is less traction/interest in the ethnic group, or among all people, to do a certain sport and to excel in it. The mere fact that an Indian girl can walk into the FBI, SWAT, pageantry, pro boxing, Secret Service, Marines, figure skating scenes and is fully allowed to take part in all of these areas, means there is little to no racism or anti-female rhetoric going on. Showing you can do it all, means you can do it all, which means nobody is holding you back, meaning also there is at least far less racism than people keep talking about.

so happy y'all had Michelle on!!!!! she's such a legend already!! I check her channel ALL THE DAMN TIME for new videos, and I have been craving an in-depth convo with her, she's so smart and intentional with her work. It's such top dollar content, like if this woman does not get that freaking Emmy THEN HOLLYWOOD IS DUMB AF, i have never seen a creator be able to show just how much vulnerability fosters strength and growth. I found her channel while going down a youtube rabbit hold in exams, and I honestly felt more confident after watching. I just want to say her videos inspire me to push past fear, and try new things I would never have considered. The fact that she's a fem, smaller than average, mixed woman like... words cannot express how much of an inspiration she is to younger girls. I love that her relationship with garret is so trusting and respectful. anyway big big fan over here Michelle!! Your message is loud and clear and we're here for it!!!

That’s one of the reasons I love her videos so much, that she will literally put her everything into the challenges she takes it so seriously and doesn’t want an easy route she wants to do that actual SWAT training the actual CHEER training not just an easier portion of it she wants to do the hard stuff. She’s amazing

What Michelle Kara said regarding projecting trends is so important. Knowing what movies would be coming out, and start filming three months back is not something I have ever thought of doing in the past. So use to being on the other side, like dang all these things coming out and people have already made videos or art regarding those subjects. Not realizing that the answer to how they got there so quickly is just working backwards instead of trying to make it right as it is released.
