Life will be very cheap indeed once you can produce life in an artificial womb. Designer babies, inventories, labor replacements, sub human slavery, etc.

@yeetnama9094 Oh, how fun! You're one of those people who try to reduce others' voices and demean their intelligence by pointing to grammar, spelling, or if they use AAVE. Well sweetie, you have told me everything I need to know about who you are as a person. I'm not interested in an intellectually dishonest game playing session with you. Find someone that doesn't see you for the pathetic thing you are. Hope you have a wonderful life.

Very interested in knowing what comes of the research for the artificial placenta. Bein a mom to an angel whom I lost at 22 weeks, my baby was born alive and it hurt me so much knowing there was nothing anyone could do to save him due to his extreme prematurity. May God bless any expecting parent, currently pregnancy, and all the researchers in their studies

Medical care for babies should be provided for FULLY by the state. Especially since the government wants to usurp parents' authority once the baby leaves the womb (in some cases before).

It seems many young couple refuse to have children due to Multiple factors including finances and time/commitment demand. Some Governments decided to entitle couple with benefits to encourage them to reproduce. Now, the science try help couple who want to reproduce but unable. I have 1 and already think that is just too much work. I believe each family need to make 2 babies to keep population going.

Women doing DIY at-home ultrasounds whenever they want is extremely reckless!! The medical industry loves to pretend that since it can be used for good, that it's as safe as rainbows and unicorn farts. Two excellent books about the risks are "50 Human Studies" by Jim West and "The Dark Side of Prenatal Ultrasound and the Dangers of Non-Ionizing Radiation" by Jeanice Barcelo.

There are also other results : 1. Overly sensitive "users" may scan every single day/every hour and thus overloading the NHS (unless the work is done using e.g. AI) with too much data. 2. It might reduce the number of hospital appointments thus providing access to people, who actually need them (just look at the ER). This COULD be a good thing.

37-38 minute mark: Why are the filmmakers afraid to show us an actual lamb foetus? There is already decades-old footage of a lamb in such an artificial womb. This is nothing new.

Animal experimentation would probably change the rating of the programme and wouldn't able to be shown in certain countries. Or it might attract letters of complaint/protests that they wish to avoid when it is not actually necessary for telling the story. This is a guess, I don't actually know.

There seem to be big obstacles when trying to be an egg donor in some places. I get it isn't as 'easy' as being a sperm donor for many, it's still a tough decision to make even with the good intention of wishing to help others. And, of course, in the States you could pay off part of your debts from the money from donating eggs. Those funds could even go to relative's childrens savings to help them in the future.

What are you saying?? Women shouldn't be allowed to have babies?? Are you a communist or some control freak?? Don't have any kids if that's your choice... But you don't have any business telling women they shouldn't have children or that having children is wrong and being born is harming the planet... That is not your problem or a problem for the earth... A bigger problem for both humans and our planet is Authoritarian Regimes that cause total oppression and human suffering for the world population while the Authoritarians in charge live lavish lives and greedily hoard resources ALL for themselves... and of course their children and grandchildren.... The people who insist on population control don't mean for their families... They can freely ignore their own oppressive mandates because they believe they are gifts to our planet while everyone else is harming THEIR world 🌎 and using up resources that they feel entitled to... It is their world not yours..

Even the children who live who are born preterm or extremely preterm often have life long negative consequence for them! These children often have serious learning disabilities, behavior issues, developmental development is behind, they have higher rates of cerebral palsy and stroke etc.... even the preterm babies that survived with current medical intervention have a good chance of a long term disability or quality of life issues... to those you say we shouldn't use artificial wombs go and sit with the babies and parents in the nicu and spend several hours with them then tell them you are responsible for their child not having the opportunity to finish growing outside the womb in a way that not only could save the lives of them but save the many long-term issues they will face if they survive... and to those who have a issue with artificial reproductive technology perhaps you should just not engage in it no matter what your situation becomes later in life and allow the rest of us to make our own moral choices for ourselves and our families as I'm sure you would not want me to decide for you or your children what medical care you are allowed to have access to, what religion you can practice, what education you can receive, or clothes you may wear so give me the same respect and stay out of my personal choices and I will stay out of yours 🤯

They should be adopting and providing good homes for children that are already here and suffering instead of trying to create more in a world that is already overpopulated.
@jadenguyen6013
@jadenguyen6013 10 ай бұрын
then you have guarantee all of these children are good. they deserve to have their own child. They do not have mission to bring up a biological product of a woman and a man. and I am sure children who is created with IVF or IVG will be happy children because their parents are difficult to have them and they appreciate this. I hope other method will enter the society, sex is cheap way therefore many adults misuse it and many children are suffer from that. you said as if people who do not have their own children have mission to resolve the burden which some women and men create due to they like sex very much. They have choice : one adopt a child or live alone themselves.

After many, many millions of years, nature has developed the most effective (although by no means perfect) living beings capable of reliably producing human babies - young women. As youthful motherhood has become less and less socially viable (economics), less and less physiologically successful (environmental toxicity and unhealthy nutrition) and less and less socially acceptable (modern morality), we are moving ever closer to a world as envisaged by Aldous Huxley, Andrew Nicol or worse still, PD James.
