I believe that Geldof used his power and influence, particularly in the media, to make life hell for Michael Hutchence. Geldof was motivated by spite and jealousy when he lost Paula to Michael. But he didn't really lose her to Michael. Paula left Geldof because he was unbearable and nasty. She then pursued Hutchence. Michael's friends tried to warn him away from Paula. For Michael it was at first just a passing fling, but Paula had designs on him. The kind of damage Geldof inflicted on Hutchence, a sensitive man, contributed to his suicide. Prior to Live Aid Geldof was a fairly minor popstar. It was his work with this movement that skyrocketed him to fame and the "St.Bob" reputation. What isn't generally known is that Paula Yates was the real driving force behind Live Aid. She really did all the work to make it happen. Think about it, through her work in the media she knew people and had connections to make it happen. Bob was just a guy in a band with one hit, lacking in the social graces and media savvy to pull something like Live Aid together. Paula probably got pregnant to trap Michael into staying with her. Michael wanted rid of her before she fell pregnant, but his good character made him stay to be a father to Tiger. In the end it tore Michael, who struggled with demons of his own, apart. Michael was also tired of INXS and his perceived image both as a rock star and the media circus around his personal life. Paula on the other hand seemed to love and court media attention. INXS was on the wane in popularity. Michael was going to leave the band after this last tour, which he was only doing out of obligation. Seeing no end to his suffering and damage to his name Michael chose suicide. He may well not have taken this action except that on the night in question following a bitter telephone argument with Geldof he was drinking heavily and this combined with the antidepressants he was taking to cause him to go into a black despair. Suicide in that state seems the only way out. It was not autoeroticasphyxiation over images of Paula, as Paula claimed, to deflect any unhappiness Michael had with their relationship. The coroner found that during his raging phone argument with Geldof, Hutchence had broken his dominant hand punching a wall. Being very drunk and in pain with an out of action dominant hand would have made masturbation unlikely, undesirable and impracticable. Making a simple noose from a belt would still have been as we know possible. A sad end to a gentle and talented poet. RIP Michael Hutchence

Sadly, I believe Michael, who insisted he did NOT want to marry Paula!!! He wanted to leave her, but she kept threatening to kill herself & Tiger! Michael found out through Bob that Paula was able to bring Tiger to Australia, that she could come back to get the girls when Christmas break began! Paula never wanted Michael to call Bob to find out that she was lying to him/Michael! Plus, after the screaming ended Michael was informed by Bob that if Paula wasn't so obsessed with selling her stories to magazines regarding "their/Michael's & her's/Paula's" relationship, telling the magazines where they were going to be at all times...Paula crushed Michael!!! Bottom line is Michael was a sweetheart who loved Tiger, but was being forced to remain with Paula. Michael wanted to be free of her, but not of Tiger!!! I love & miss you, Michael!!! He was depressed about what was going on! He wasn't pleasuring himself as Paula would have everyone believe!!! I'm surprised how many people aren't held accountable!!! The phone records would show everything! I wish Paula never crossed paths with Michael! Michael's one true regret, even though he didn't regret H.H.T.L. (Tiger) ❤️❤️❤️

(Michael) Sadly, Michael's brain injury left him unable to rationalize anything if he didn't have someone he trusted to talk him down. The very thought of not seeing his beloved Tiger Lily, literally scared Michael to death. That's why he made those 3 calls after his argument with Geldof. Unfortunately, no one got them in time. To be honest, with the brain injuries he had, it amazing Michael made it those 5 yrs. in the music industry. He kept everyone who loved him in the dark about how serious his TBI was...except for Helena. And that was a secret she kept until 2017, when the documentary Mystify was being produced. It was a very sad, unnecessary death of a great MAN, and a damn fine musician, poet and I'm sure... father.

It was a vicious circle caused by geldof...his bitterness caused paula to take an overdose but luckily she survived..that time. She was seperated from him and met michael and if geldof had allowed paula and the children to go to australia like he promised michael would be alive today. Look up "kym Wilson I saw michael hanging" She talks of her being with Michael and her fiance all evening and that there were no drugs In 2014, 2 ex cops said there was drugs and that he tried to score some, but the police said it was a lie and no phone calls were to get drugs and no drugs were in the room. Again they said IF the chemical in his system was cocaine, it had to be 48 hours before. Prelimary toxicology did'nt show drugs. The more indepth toxicology that uses hair samples, found the possible cocaine. These were the cops who said they heard Paula screaming at a restaurant that Michael choked her. Problem is, the hotel they said she was staying atwasn't correct and they said this happened right after he died - also not true. Right after Michael died Paula was upset about the sex rumors. saying he was never into S&M or tying her up. She said "I blame Bob" and that "Michael snapped after 3 years of torment". She changed her story later for money or out of denial when the press pointed the finger at her for dragging Michael into it all. As for a bath, - its VERY Common. Almost half of all suicides are attempted within 5 minutes of the person deciding to do so and are the ones that are more likely to succeed. Since we spend part of our waking life naked, like when taking a bath, then that's why there are often naked suicides. Sudden suicide decisions are often the result of a panic attack. Panic attacks make you hot, then your pores open causing cold chills. People in panic get in the tub to try and get their temperature under control. People with panic attacks suddenly feel they need to get out of their skin and like they're cornered by a wild animal. Dr. Shepherd also examined the death and said that it was definity suicide. Especially because of the way he hung himself - from up high, not from a doorknob - and because there wasn't a soft ligature or release mechanism. Autoerotic games involve something that wil come undone so they don't die. Michael however clearly expected to die - he hung himself with a buckled belt and from up high facing the door.

Under highly mysterious circumstances, which are never properly explained or adequately investigated, other than to slander the deceased as suicidal/addicted/into kinky choke-sex/TERRIBLE, irresponsible parents - which is not what such investigations are meant to do; they are meant to PROTECT the orphaned children from lurid speculation, not generate it. And when they die, he takes all of their children and all of their money.
