Are these new GT350 cars good as daily drivers? The new track tires are more prone to tram lining and the quality or comfort level might be worse? 10k mileage tires now. Also suspension stiffer then previous 2018 model. Looks like Ford made it more like an “R” racing car instead of a daily type?

The funny thing is if you look at the way the metal of the hood and inner fender well is designed, they stamped in areas that must be for aftermarket hood struts....which to me just proves how cheap Ford is, they'll design into the metal recessed areas for hood struts but then leave them out of the assembly and put a prop rod from 1965 on it instead to save a few bucks.

@@FathousePerformance True. But I really wanted the last gt350 to be made have a final hit a, by giving the new ignition system to rank up the hp more. The voodoo engine came with a flat plane crank and it managed to make over 100 hp over the standard 5.0 coyote. A 5.2 Liter N/A that punched 600 would have been nice.

FathouseFabrications like what. The plus 5 hp is from no resonator, lighter wheels and the no AC compressor taking power away. The lighter the wheel the less rotational mass, so more power makes it to the ground. As far as cam lift and duration as well as springs and valves, they are identical.

This is was a great video! I am huge fan of the GT350 and it is actually the car that inspired me to learn how to drive a manual car. I think that with the technology getting so advanced in these cars, driving a manual isn't as inconvenient and hard as it used to be. I hope that we will see one more refresh of this interior before Ford phases out the manual. The interior is starting to get dated in my opinion and I would like to see Ford completely re-vamp it while keeping the manual. I guess I would want a refresh similar to that of the new corvette if you will, but with a manual transmission!

Biggest change should had been a huge price drop on the GT350. Make it a mid 40 grand car and see the sales skyrocket. With the current pricing nobody would pay more money for less performance. Lets hope the GT500 doesn’t disappoint.

I just bought a 19 and love it. I could've waited and got a GT500 but the auto killed it for me. I've never owned a mustang (until now) that I felt was underpowered compared to it's handling and braking capabilities. This car at 800 rwhp seems to be the ultimate driver's car to me. So, with all the engine modifications mentioned, especially the rods, did Ford install a cross plane crank in the GT350 vs the previous gen GT350 flat plane crank? I would like to know because, I'm considering a newer GT350 '19 on. However, with all the KZbin personalities that are having problems with the previous gen GT350, like Tunnel Chaser, Woman Driven, Jeff Ashton, et cetera. The various failures and, Ford trying to play warranty misers. It doesn't sit to well with me making a purchase, I'll regret. I have always loved Ford. I even love my 5.4 3V Triton F150 FX4. Even though they screwed us customers with the stupid 3V garbage. The junky phasers and Ford tensioners. I have upgraded my truck. I was just curious about the lower end upgrades, namely the cam. The flat plane crank is a good idea. There's just too many "penny pinchers" at Ford to screw up the program!! They want top dollar but, still don't want to add the parts to solidify the program. They will just find a way to screw the consumer and, still make their profits!! I'm just glad I never bought into the EcoBoost V6 garbage!!

I would slap a positive displacement supercharger on it... For some reason turbo muscle cars dont sound as good to me (exhaust wise), but supercharged still sounds good. I guess its the turbos taking some of the exhaust
@chrism.7285 жыл бұрын
The turbos kind of act as mufflers since they use exhaust gases to spool. Since superchargers are belt-driven, they don't affect exhaust volume. Turbo setups have a higher power potential compared to superchargers, plus you don't have to worry about belt slip either.
