your logic is just wrong though. clearly, even you can see that the slimes relate to archons but instead, you choose to ignore that. with your logic, just because nahida is a catalyst user and kokomi is also a catalyst user, that means nahida must be hydro just like kokomi! (referencing the geo slime shield mechanic)

@@krxsmyvc when I am researching for the video the only connection theories say is that both Zhong li and geo slime are similar because they have a shield. For example let say that both zhong li and the geo slime are not related by the shield they have nothing in common.

While I do enjoy the original theory I always found the one linking the archons the the hypostasis more interesting. From the wear and tear of the anemo, geo, and electro. The other dead electro hypostasis. And not to mention the abilities and mechanics of the cubes match far more interestingly with the archons.

While i like your explanation, i have 2 remarks: first, if Hoyoverse made the decision of linking the electro slimes to Ei + Makoto, it doesn't make sense for them to not link the others. Second, your points still stand, but if you're looking at the slimes starting with a mindset of "how could these be related to the archons?", you will notice that they do match up with the archons, just because they 1) have that specific skill 2) are in the nation of their own element For example, with kokomi: sure she can walk on water too, but she's from Inazuma, so it doesn't make sense for her to be dragged into this. Same goes for Noelle. Great video though!❤ keep going

I would like to add another theory and that is that the slimes represent not the archons, but the dragon sovereigns. And as they are said to be stronger than archons, and their authority is in every gnosis, it would make sense that the archons and other elemental beings abilities are based on the dragons

@@Cherudoyle We don't really know much about the dragon sovereigns We only know about Apep and Neuvillette While our only informations Apep's skills is their boss fight, and in the 2nd phase there are many small dendro creatures, so it would match with the dendro slime Tho with Neuvillette it's kinda diffrent, but he's the reincarnation, so we can only speculate that the orginal hydro soveregin had skills simmiliar to the hydro slime As for the rest, we don't really know about other sovereigns Cause Dvalin is not a sovereign and Azhdaha is also not a sovereign We have no dragon in Inazuma And Natlan is still not done, tho we might learn about them in 5.3 (I don't want to bring up spoilers, so let's stick with that, I also might be forgetting something from the world quest with the little sourian we have cause I did it some time ago)

well.... ngl it isn't a good example like yes many enemies can make wind thingys (eng is not my first lingo mb) but only in mondstad. shield... there's not much to add. just because the game has more than 1 shield doesn't mean it isn't meant to represent raiden ei and raiden mei... 2 different slimes makes sense dendro slime summons small slimes just like dendro summons dendro cores hydro slime can afloat just like furina can walk. different yes but somwhat simillar pyro slime can throw 6 fireballs like mavuika summons 6 warriors cryo slimes can create a cryo aura just like she might as well

For Mauvika, I see it that when the Pyro slime dies it explodes and does damage, and the 5.1 quest says that Mauvika will die so maybe when she dies it will leave a physical impact on the world

You even mentioned the similarities between the archons and the slimes though? Just because they're not the only representatives doesn't mean they aren't also some of them. And what was that argument about the dendro slimes? You're arguing semantics, which is stupid in and of itself because you should look at the underlying meaning at words instead of straight at them like you're a piece of cardboard (here: summoning and making both relating to them being found together always). But the semantics you're arguing against were also made up by you, so you could have put basically any word that disproves the other position. So you, in this video, have proven that all slimes except the hydro one are related to their respective archons at least in some way, and since there is no hydro archon we don't know whether or not their skills would match up with the slimes. You didn't even realise you disproved your own point, but I hope you learn from this experience and learn to articulate your points better and more accurately in the future.

I'm pretty sure it just has to do with the fact that Archons are basically overgrown pure elemental beings so they are relative to the slimes, think of it like humans being theorized to have evolved from monkeys and pure elemental beings in general share similiar traits and abilities due to the nature of their respective element. We know Archons were similiar beings to slimes (Or any other pure elemental being) when they were born due to these factors : 1- They don't age but die due to erosion. 2- Raiden Ei boss is immune to electro. 3- Rukkhadevata shrinks after using too much elemental energy. 4- We are basically hinted that Nahida will regrow to her original size overtime in her second story quest. 5- Venti used to be a Wind Spirit. Which also could mean that Mavuika's kit won't be relative to the Pyro Slime or the opposite where due to her having powers of an Archon, (Even though she is a human) her nature of skills would be relative to that of a pure elemental being hence be similiar to a Pyro slime. Either way the theory itself isn't wrong or right, most likely just misinterpreted.

I dunno about the anemo and geo slimes, but the electro, dendro and hydro slimes all have specific lines seemingly referencing important parts of their respective archon quests. Electro talks about the difference in polarity of the slimes, a reference to Ei and makoto’s polar opposite views of an unchanging vs ever-changing eternity. Dendo slime references something “parasitic” in the slime, a reference to the forbidden knowledge that attached itself through the former dendro archon and had to be removed. The hydro slime references the large amount of energy stored in the oratrice as that was one of the biggest mysteries of the Fontaine archon quest, focalors used that excess of energy to destroy the throne and give authority back to neuvillette. I defo think it’s more than just a coincidence for a couple of them imo.
