See the issue I have with the dialogue when Margo takes her dad aside to talk about Amber is that Margo doesn't bring up the arguments that are more likely to work. She doesn't bring up the fact that she just met Amber and is not (and should not be)comfortable with having her as a mom and living in her space yet. I also feel like the Dad went from 0 to 60 when talking to her since Margo has been shown to be pretty supportive of him finding someone so her not wanting her mother to be replaced obviously isn't her issue. Also he's a grown a** man he should no better than to be willing to jump to marriage so quickly considering that he should be aware of a goldigger being a possibility.
