Oh.....yeah. A rockin' bluesy tune to tap my toes to as my eyes gaze and my mind wanders to the wonders of the roads in those Golden Days Of Trucking! My silver hair attests to the fact that I was alive during some of those day, so my memories are not just of the recorded history but of experiencing the living history you so exquisitely present. Watching these is like watching a history show and captivates your attention. Lately it's been fun to watch the evolution of mechanical Refrigeration. Also have to appreciate that weigh station for the small-scale terminal and then the huge ediface for PIE. That combination truck trailer for Edison between the battery truck and what they were selling makes one proud of American Technology

The 2nd picture is from my home area of Nipigon Ontario. That truck is an Arnold Bros Transport heading east out of Nipigon on "Kama Hill Rock Cut" The air gap between the trailer and the rock cut on the left, if the picture was not hazy, you would see the town of Red Rock, about 8 miles in the distance across the lake from the bottom of that hill.
