O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸Another look at some really cool trucks of yesteryear! Some were quite on the edge of design oddity. As they say,”Necessity is the mother of all invention.” Love to see these fine old rigs…rigs of style & character! My dad had several of these trucks back in the day…REO, Dodge, Federal, Chevy International, Kenworth, etc. I grew up around some of them as well. Oh, Yeah! Great stuff!! 🤩🥰✌️

1:38 Did you know that the rig on the left could be ordered with a sleeper. I can’t tell if this one has one, but it was literally a coffin shape behind the engine. Imagine your co-driver has intestinal problems! 😂 We’ve come such a long ways!

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 I’ve seen these trucks with & without the sleeper. I know a few certain companies had them, but I can’t figure if they were made for specific applications or if they were like a prototype. They were quite odd, but yet so cool. I’ve heard stories from my oldest brother about these, but he never drove them either. Most of the sleepers were not that roomy anyway, especially those built into the trailers. We HAVE come a long ways! Blessings my friend.🤩🥰✌️
