@@BortoYT I personally like the idea that "aliens" won't be anything at all like humans think. Humans (and everything on earth for that matter) are carbon based, probably because carbon is one of the most abundant elements on earth (I think, don't @ me). But for things that aren't originally from earth, they could be based on a different element entirely or possibly even an unknown element we've never even heard of. Aliens could be nonliving, sentient machines for all we know. Or if you've seen Annihilation, they probably don't even have a physical body at all and are more like an area of effect that changes aspects of the environment around it. The interesting thing about is that we have no idea, and we'll never know

The story of how the Golden Record was made would actually make for a potentially good movie. It sounds amazing, knowing the challenges of making it, from the limits they had to finding everything they wanted to include, as well as the love story of Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan. Capturing some of the best of humanity for any intelligent extraterrestrial life to someday find long after we’re gone. The movie would show the journey of Carl Sagan, Frank Drake, Linda Salzman and Ann Druyan and their team of scientists being handed the task of and making the Golden Record, with the love story of Carl and Ann intertwined throughout it, and ending with the launch of Voyager 1 and its journey into deep space as “Johnny B Goode” plays.

In order to apply to a video game design school, everyone who wanted to in had to do a project about the theme "Unite". I decided to make my game's concept about the Golden Record, that was the name of the game. It was about the aftermath of a kessler syndrome type event that had made the world's nations less trusty of each other, and you had to ignore all of that to save lots of people stranded in the void, even though you shouldnt do it due to politics and such social constructs. So you roamed the solar system rescuing people, trying to connect with them to help, sometimes it was easy and sometimes it was hard, but eventually everyone stopped caring about their differences and began to work as one to help everyone out there needing help. The game's story ended when you and the crew you grew are at the outer edge of our solar system, and follow a strange signal. What they find after following it was an old space-age probe withe the golden record in it, and after playing it, and seeing its contents, they head back to earth, to let all know about their journey. Neat concept, but they didnt like it and never got in :/
