@@TheAdmitLab Sir, I need to know one thing: Is it important to do research based internship because I've already completed my 1st research paper/dissertation in my 2nd semester and there will be 2nd research paper/ dissertation which will be conducted during 4th semester, so it is enough or is it important to do research based internship to show more in my application?? Their are sample writing also for about 25 pages which will describe my interest in that topic/area or to give some brief literary review.

Sir, is it a bad thing if you got a lower gpa in your junior year compared to the first two years, but improve your gpa quite a lot in the final year of bachelors? For example, dropping to 3.75/4.00 from a 3.9 gpa, and then increasing to 3.97?

I wouldn't worry about it. 3.97 is excellent.

It depends on your target PhD program and a variety of factors, but overall they will focus on your most recent GPA.
