Negative battery terminal should be disconnected for electrical work, not the positive. Loved the video though, keep them coming!

I definetly would. For the value its a very very good upgrade whether you have the premium or base trim models of the car. They just released their full kit with the sub and amp and we might be picking that up in the future.

I have the base model as well do you think it was worth the upgrade since we don’t got the midrange speakers ?

massive upgrade. The sound is tighter and better bass response. Theres also a higher volume limit on the speakers before they start to make noise. Def worth

So if I have a base I won't be able to add the bigger speaker with the tweeters

I'm sure there is a way you can, the space for it is still there however the cable that connects the speakers to the unit is missing as far as I could tell.

No you can't because the harness that plugs to the mid is missing. I have a limited BRZ but the car specs with base model 4 speakers. Right the mid is just sitting waiting for the oem + might come with an install as soon they release the subwoofer.
