the lasers are purely for the benefit of the players. Payday 1 didnt have them and it made things difficult, especially in the wolfpack dlc where you had like 8 snipers at once with no lasers.

It's the A-10 Warthog, the M134 Minigun and red laser sights are not generally visible in the air as the human eye doesn't detect red as well as other colors such as green, that is visible in the air.

When I played payday2 for the first time my pc sucked so I ran full turret build to aim for me lmao And since i have the option of using armor piercing bullets on turrets, shields and some bulldozers werent a problem lmao Though it was a pain to pick up every turret before moving

A particularly dumb take I saw about Payday 3 was someone saying, "It's better because it's more tactical, which..." I kinda forget the rest, but he was basically saying "it's not for the people who enjoyed Payday 2's silliness". Which, counter-point, that basically alienates the fans of Payday 2 who THOUGHT they were getting something that WAS a sequel to Payday 2 in gameplay and spirit. Not JUST in a similar title and broad outline, because that's going to disappoint the CURRENT customer, and means they probably won't be a FUTURE customer. Perfect example of that is myself, with the Red Faction series. I played the first one, and liked it. I played Red Faction: Guerilla and that shit was my JAM, I loved running around a huge, open-world map and just blowing shit up wherever I could and wanted to for 30-40 hours. And when Red Faction: Armaggedon came out, I was SUPER hyped because I thought it would be more of RF:G. Yeah, no. I returned it to Gamestop the next day (for like 3 bucks, fucking GS assholes) because it was a 7-hour linear corridor with a plot that was BEYOND rushed. There was NO indication that they were going back to the "original formula" for the game, and doing so in a very half-assed way. Same situation with Payday 2 and Payday 3, and why saying "it's SUPPOSED to be more 'tactical' than Payday 2" isn't an excuse for why it just isn't as good as Payday 2.

The take that you mentioned is dumb, how is PD3 better because it is more tactical when PD2 can do tactical stuff too I remember before the game came out, I saw somewhere that mentioned it being like the first game which I thought was alright since I had played the first game, until it came out I was not having it. I agree with the statements that art wise of payday 3 being a bit to realistic, and I sort of get the comments on the tone too but that is very similar to the tone payday 2 had at release before they started adding content, so I’d say give that sometime (though they probably should have just started with that tone due to how well that did in payday 2). But the amount I heard in the video that was stated as a negative for payday 3 that was actually just misremembering was quite high. Like commenting on the options available for stealth in missions, which was an option in all but one of the missions in 3 and that mission gave you the option to do the first objective stealth (granted like in 2 the stealth options in most missions took quite a bit to work out how to do them). And armour options being limited, when they are actually contains five different options including the option to just not where armour (it’s just not available from the beginning like in 2) where the armour missing is the heaviest 3 options from payday 2. I’m not annoyed or angry that details are being misremembered, and I’m not trying to make the case that payday 3 is necessarily a good game (personally I think it’s fine as long as your not comparing it to 2 as both are as of currently). I just find it interesting the details that are misremembered. Especially when the truth is the opposite of what’s remembered.

Sadly, you're not wrong about Payday 3. Which sucks to admit because I was excited for it but it flopped hard. The newer updates have helped fix issues but they've got a long way to go.

I'll say in the defense of PayDay 3, not in terms of any technical issues but the customization in terms of looks and such. It's brand new, how old is PayDay 2? It's hard years and years and years to build up looks and content, it would take so much effort for them to drop ALL of the same looks right away, PayDay 2 is much different now then it was at launch too. Everything else about it, mechanics, graphics and all that stuff well that's all preference from player to player so I don't have much to say there.

Payday 3 is the Overwatch 2 of the payday series. It didnt need a sequel, they couldve just done a revamp of payday 2 and it wouldve been much better recieved but they felt pressured to make it a sequel despite clearly not having the content to be one

PD3 shat the bed cause they removed everything that was enjoyable about PD2. They said they wanted to return to the Serious roots that of PD1, but it's because of the goofy BS in PD2 that put it on the map...then PD3 threw it into the fire. Don’t get me wrong I love payday 2 and prefer it over payday 3. But when ppl complain and say payday 3 doesn’t have as much cosmetics or as much content. It’s because payday 3 hasn’t been out as long as payday 2 has. Payday 2 also added all that stuff OVER TIME. Over the course of years mind you. And payday 3 already is getting content. So I would just say be gradual plz and be patient payday 3 will get better over time just like guess what payday 2 did it got better over time.
