Correct! I dealt with two. My first was a relationship of 4 years to an overt. Then 1 year with a covert. It wasn’t until I was with the covert, did I realize what a narcissist was and that my first ex was overt. My first ex tried getting back with me ( I shut that down) and told me that my new boyfriend (now ex) was just a 2.0 version of him and in time I’d see it. I thought he didn’t know what he was talking about but now I see that was probably the one truth he had told me in a long time. So happy to be out of their matrix of lies, infidelity, constant drama and abuse.

I've found that the first sign of a narcissist is the person that rushes up to you first when you enter a room with a big smile and overly friendly... those for me have always turned out to be bad apples... Narcs know well how to use people and they want first dibs to see if you are worth spending time with... if you have supply they want. .. I always steer clear of the gushy types on first meeting...

You are correct, he told me our relationship was not real, that he does not let anyone in, because no one is going to hurt him. He also said he can separate logic from emotions and when he gets to close to anyone he just turns them off. I wish I could do that as well, turn off all of my feelings for him :(

I am definitely not there yet, still in shock, I have derailed my entire life thinking he was my best friend, he said that we were going to have a business together and he wanted to retire with me. It's so crazy because we had so much in common and our interests were so similar. He knew I was single for 12 years before I met him and I stupidly told him I had bad past relationships. I believed him and looked up to him, but when I needed a friend he disappeared. When I told him I was confused and in the dark he ignored me. I had so many concerns and he kept telling me " all is good" " there's nothing to fix" But I was in pain and he allowed me to sit there, in pain. When I told him I couldn't go on another trip with him ( long distance relationship) he told me he needed a break from me bc I was attacking him, and now I can see on social media that he is taking trips with his ex girlfriend a month later... Just horrific 😢

For me this was your best post. I am 57 and have a narcissistic mother and all my relationships were with narcissists. I think because my mother was one that is what I thought was normal. My last relationship lasted 27 years and I never felt she respected me. Always demeaning followed with love bomb or rewarding. It went really bad the last 3 years. Because of this I finally learned what narcissism is and now it all makes sense. If it was not for God I never would have made it. She drug me down over many years and God oped my eyes and pulled me back up! I’m still healing but feel so much better not walking on eggshells and wondering what’s wrong with me. It never was me, they are truly evil and manipulating.

You speak truth! My narc husband claims to be a man of God. Whenever I remind him that a true man of God is a man who treats his wife like Jesus with his church, it's like the demon in him freaks out and tells me to stop preaching to him. It's painful to see this, but more to experience the devaluation and discard from him. I love your videos, they have helped me so much. Powerful how you included the spiritual aspect of things. It's a full blown spiritual warfare. Thank you!

And yet another fantastic explanation here by YAZ. Yes, a narc can be fun. Remember, a narc is like a toddler...they love to have fun, but will pout the moment you say "okay now, time to get off the swing set and do your homework"...they cannot and will not do any work...well, maybe at the beginning, but marry them and that will soon come to an end...Listen to YAZ and she will give you the tools to set you free.

Could you please make a video specifically on the book called The Game as many men still follow this advice , I think my bf also. He used the ignoring and silent treatment on me and then pretended his phone was dead but then I actually told him this is emotional abuse and he didn't believe I said to google it and then he stopped. So I think some of those men don't understand this is abuse and they think it's just a game but it gives me huge distress. Some people are a bit older and they don't use YT or tiktok and they need something to actually read as they refuse to watch videos even if I send them and they think it's bs... Also in dating online there is a lot of signs of potential narcs looking for victims, I am now so fine tuned to it that I can spot their testing messages. Thank you for your amazing channel.
