I remember this night. I got stranded with some people after the show. It got so late there was literally no one outside. We were all just posted outside a Del Taco desperately trying to get a ride when out of nowhere fucking Brooks pulls out of the drive threw. Covering a song doesn't exactly mean to do it the same way the original artist recorded it. That's why its unique or different when a band uses their own style and sound to cover it. If it sounded like the exact same thing from its origins then there would be no point of covering it. For instance if you listen to T. Rex and listen to Ty Segall's covers of T. Rex, the covers sound like songs created by Ty Segall himself.
