I’m today’s Fortnite commentary I talk about the history and difficulty of unlocking the Golden Style Skins from Fortnite Battle Royale: Chapter 2, Season 2.

If you started out at tier 100, that was the only chance you had at making progress for gold Peely. He’s arguably in the top 10 for the rarest skins in the game.

7:16 The super level style for eternal knight was just like the ones in ch2s2, just that it ended at lvl 160 (I think) and could be applied to all of her Edit styles.

I grinded so hard for full gold Tntina, she’s now my main skin. I unfortunately only got halfway through Skye, I think I finished at 275. I remember when you ran out of challenges, all you could do was grind Team Rumble for the most effective way of getting xp, one level took roughly an hour or so to attain. Also a small correction, these weren’t the last ever enlightened style skins, Eternal Knight from CH2S3 was, although it was much easier to attain. You could start getting her enlightened style at level 100, and it became maxed out at 160.

Fortnite needs to bring back where if we complete the normal Battle Pass (ergo lvl 100) we have as much time as we want to complete the edit styles. They had this for S6 and it needs to return.

My highest level was 387 & truth to my words here, yes i do own the fully golden agent peely & i simply grinding it out by doing some available challenge, playing team rumble while finishing my punch cards XP, opening up some chess & ammo box's, and didn't buy the whole tiers.

Eternal knights super level style was progressive however it was completed at just level 160

Also the marvel season with the rainbow variants was a grind. I actually grinded that season to get rainbow wolverine which I believe you had to get to lvl 250 or something.

Loved this Season but wasn't able to get Gold Peely. I got as far as Gold Skye. I think I finished that Season at LVL285-290. My Agent Peely's head is gold. It was definitely a grind to get to LVL 300 and I kind of wish I would've continued grinding those last fifteen levels. I got burnt out towards the end of the Season. It was painstakingly repetitive trying to max out your XP every game. Every chest, every ammo box, every mushroom, every guard over and over again. Need to mention the XP system was quite different then also. The higher you leveled up the more XP was needed for the next level. Not like it is today, where it's like every 60,000-80,000 XP. I salute those who obtained Golden Agent Peely.

Actually in chapter 2 season 6 you could earn chrome styles and this was before the super styles. Only thing is they were kinda secret so you would only get then if you played enough of the game

Correction... as someone who actual owns golden peely, you unlock golden peely at 300, but you need 350 to get him fully gold. SO its way harder than you make it out to be. and yes... I had migraines for days after i finished

Being fair, I dont think they are bringing those type of styles back due to creative XP(and currently lego/other modes) exp, bc It gets way easier to obtain those styles and I dont think epic would bring them back bc of that, back in ch1/2 It was grind, nowadays would be Just a silly thing not a lot ppl would care for

Getting to lvl 350 to fully max out the golden perky is insane especially if slave you life away to the game

I think I could've gotten Lvl300 if I played that season, sure one would have to forfeit lively hood and be cut off from human interaction, yet regardless it is what it is. We'll have to wait till Chapter 10 for Epic to bring back all Bps, so I guess five years from now the gate keeping question could end, maybe!

If I recall 300 was around when Agent Peely started getting gold, I think he gets fully gold at 350. The gold starts from the head down. Also it wasn't as easy to level up in creative maps as it is now. Also Zero Build didn't exist yet, so good luck contending with Build mode.

I remember when I unlocked the option to use the golden edit styles I thought I unlocked them for good and I didn't know you had to get the full golden edit styles to actually keep them When I found this out the next season I was so sad and angry I didn't play fortnite until a couple months later

i was so close to completing skye, i was like 10 levels off :( idk what epic were thinking making it so hard, i literally played all day in lockdown and only got to level 290 (i also grinded team rumble and made my own loot path)

Chapter 2 season 2 was my very first season I bought the battle pass so i had very little time to unlock the gold styles because I started late but I did unlock everything else and made it well past 100

I unfortunately didn’t get too high of a level this season , I didn’t do challenge quests cus playing with the boys was too fun this season but I was able to get full gold Midas and a quarter gold Brutus

I almost finished Meowscles Gold but I just couldn't bring myself to play more than a couple hrs a day back then. So my main goal was getting Gold Midas. My secret goal was to get Gold Skye. But again, I wasn't great at grinding. I mainly focused on attempting to get to tier 100 plus the secret skin stuff. Anything after was just a bonus.

I only got to peely with his head fully covered in gold and I was on my GRIND that season. I don't know how anyone unlocked the fully gold peely. I've only seen a handful of people with the full gold peely over the years. It's an extremely rare skin

I respect this but you can’t deny that scratch corrupted style was way more rare cause they added it in near the end of the season and told nobody where as the gold styles were there day one I have fully corrupted scratch and I feel it’s more of a flex than the golden skins just my opinion

I got golden peely fully gold in this season, i played every waking second just about done every challenge and done the most efficient xp method and unlocked golden peely the day before the season ended

Man i was around level 309 or something and didn't buy 100 tiers like youtubers , only 3. I started playing other games and singeplayer games like God of war , I also used to grind in creative like crazy but creative didn't give xp back then , i wish I could go back in time to tell my old self to grind more br so I could unlock gold peely haha , already unlocked half gold skye and I am sure I could have done it because I played from like 6:30 in the morning to 12:30 in the night almost 18 hours a day 💀💀 spent my entire middle school in lockdown fortnite haha

In quarantine I legit had no life with school and sports being cancelled I got full gold Brutus and I vividly remember me and my brother on the last day of the season trying to get gold meocles

And I finished every quest, every daily quest each day and I played so many bot lobbies and team rumble which were the two best methods of getting the most xp out of a round We also shouldn’t forget that the season should have originally only went on for 10 weeks. Just imagine how much more harder it would have been to obtain full gold peely then

I managed to get to golden peely it was a drag.. it was an endless bot lobby, and almost 16 hrs a day of just grinding did help that i had school, so i managed to make the impossible possible! 😅

that season was very long and bot lobbies exist ...but maybe a lot of people didn't want to grind for un ugly cosmetics(in my opinion) the full golden outfits has no character its just a gold statue ..i dont remember when was the last time i saw someone using a golden style on any character from c2s2 i see the regular original styles more because its actually very good looking

C2S2 was the only battle pass I bought tier 100 for and yet I still didn’t even finish TNTina. Granted I did take a break 3/4 into the season bc it got insanely boring but even if I kept playing I probably wouldn’t have gotten much farther.

Isn't the Eternal Knight in Chapter 2 Season 3 technically the last Progressive style Battle Pass skin? It wasn't a super style like you got with the skins in Chapter 2 Season 4 onward. Like the gold edit styles, the Eternal Knight started to glow from the visor down the more you leveled up during the Season. Even the back bling received this treatment.

Technically, Agent Jones from chapter 2, season 6, was the last true progressive skin, with the skin evolving with how many realities he went to

@@brw3653_ I don't think that quite counts, that is progressive in terms of stages as sepa rate styles. I think the kind of "progressive" skins in context here are the ones where the style "grows" over the skin as you level up within the Season. Agent Jones is more "progressive" in the same way Dire, Drift, and Lynx are.

As someone who played the hell out of this game back in season 2 : reached level 310 or sum you got some of it wrong : Fully Golden Midas : 140 Fully Golden Brutus : 180 Fully Golden Meowscles : 220 Fully Golden TnTina : 260 Fully Golden Skye : 300 Fully Golden Peely : 340 you needed to reach level 300 to even unlock the tip of golden peely and had to grind till it was fully golden...

Gold Lara Croft wasn't a progressive style. If I recall, you just had to steal the gold SCAR from an island with the Orelia boss while using Lara Croft. It was achievable in a single match, if you're lucky.

Marvel season had difficult colors to get, they weren't progressive, but were past level 200 and gate kept after the season Rainbow colors being the highest Now all you have to do is get to level 200

I have an I idea ok so it would be like a game mode ok the game mode would be called Fortnite because I will tell you ok this game mode would be like battle royal but here’s the catch it would have chapter one season 1 and then have an item shop but og stuff and would last like 50-60 days and would not have a battle pass and then ones that one end it would change to season 2 and have the same battle pass as season 2 chapter one and last like 70 days and some new items in the shop and then would have season 3 ones that one end and would have the same battle pass and some new stuff in the item shop and would last like 70 days and ones season 3 in the game mode ends it would have season 4 the same battle pass and some new stuffs in the item shop and would last like 80 days and than end and season 5 would start bye the way it would have the live events to back to it ok and have the same battle pass as season 5 and some new stuff in the item shop and last like 70/80 days and than change to season 6 chapter 1 and have the same battle pass 50 likes for part 2
