I am glad that a doctor is taking interest in nutrition. I was diagnosed with AML and drs gave me 6 weeks to live and sent home to die. I did lot of juicing, fasting and other modalities like detoxing. I am a vegan for 13 years with clean eating. I also make 40 types of herbal teas.Juice fasting helps remove mucoid plaque. I am in remission for 9 years. This is the power of nutrition. I also lost 70 pounds. thank you for your great videos.I would like to do a video with you.

Day 27 of my juice feast .. feel great .. i miss snacking but its not needed, not hungry. Scheduled to be seen by Dr. Montgomery just because my General practitioner recommended being seen by someone since i was diagnosed with serious heart problems. i take no meds . Psalm 1:1 How Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked. (my former doctors said this is impossible) So glad and Blessed i did not listen to the wicked.

Interesting. Wicked could also be interpreted as “willfully ignorant”. Being a doctor and not seeking information on diet and nutrition is definitely wicked. And detrimental to your patients health. Just revelation I got from what you stated.

I stay my pcp health course and started doing more research. I found Dr. Bobby Price , you Dr. Montgomery and a hand full of other doctors as well, started following you all and discovered that YES I CAN TURN THIS ALL AROUND! In the course of do what my pcp said to do, my diabetes got worst, I developed arterial sclerosis (blood circulation issues) and had to have two stents put into my left leg and about four put into my right leg. Then I developed a lesion on my right big toe that got infected and had to have my right big toe amputated. Then I developed an infection in the bone of my amputated stump (pseudomonas ) and had to have eight weeks of home infusions of two types of antibiotic; which I cut short one of the antibiotics because I was getting so sick from it. Afterwards, I then had cut issues where I would bring up anything that I ate or drink. Finally, I begin taking probiotics and prebiotics orally. Then I begin fasting and juicing green apples with green vegetables every other day. I started feeling a whole lot better. Now, I don’t eat any meat, dairy or cheese. But I really a very new to juicing, fasting and the plant based diet.

Hi DocM I’ve been listening to your program about three weeks now👍🏾 I’m a 69 yrs old Female and was diagnosed with Heart Failure Bronchitis Diabetes and BP about ten years ago well you know the symptoms are getting worse with the medication prescribed But since I started listening to your programs I began to do the juicing with greens and blackberries with pure coconut water 24 ozs per day using a ninja juicer eating salads daily and vegetables but listening to your program as often as I can I’ve learned a lot of things about juice feasting Anyway I’m even experiencing my heart does not palpitate as often as it does my blood sugar is 90/110 my BP measured 124/77 sometimes 127/69 no headaches no swelling in the leg but sometimes the blood sugar gets so low like 78/76 and that scared me I know there’s more to this I also sent for one of your books awaiting for it’s arrival Thankyou DocM I’ll keep listening

I love this juice feast segment. I’m on a journey to becoming plant based myself. My reason is because I have been a diabetic for about 25 to 30 years and yes, I took the medications and insulins, and developed hyper tension and started taking medication for that as well. It wasn’t until my latest visit to my pcp where I asked the question, Doc, how can I turn this around and can I turn this around? He said “NO, you’ll always be a diabetic and always have hypertension! You’ll have to be on these meds for the rest of your life period. I explained that I wanted to explore juicing and eating plant based. He said “no, it’s too late for that now. You’ll be on medications for the rest of your life. Anyways, because you’re a diabetic, juicing will keep your sugars very high and that’s no good”

I still go to this pcp because I have something to prove. Otherwise, I would have left his care and get another pcp. So now, my hypertension is way better than what it was a few months ago and definitely about a year ago when I first started seeing this pcp where he wanted to put me on a second blood pressure medication. Now, I’m not on any medications for my blood pressure, I bring my glucose meter to let him see how my blood sugars has been doing; which is always under 100. And my pcp still writes my prescriptions for the medications he normally writes for me. This time, I just walked out of his office. And I NEVER filled the prescriptions.

Now, I’m learning more about the journey to becoming plant based. And the facts that I’m learning is this- I CAN TURN AROUND MY HEALTH AND FOR THE BETTER. YES, I CAN DO THIS! But I feel so alone in my journey to becoming plant based. My pcp do not support my journey to becoming plant based to heal myself, he’s very negative and have isn’t encouraging at all. Partially, I don’t blame him because I know that he probably wasn’t taught anything nutrition while becoming a doctor. And to think of it, he probably have the same health issues as myself and many of his patients as well.

Juicing (removing the fiber) increases glucose and fructose spike. You lose considerable amount of nutrients when you juice compared to blending. That's why JUCERO (introduced by Whole Foods Market years ago) lost money.

I’m in the Cardiac unit right now of my local hospital here in Wales, U.K., with a suspected heart attack. Even though my enzymes were very elevated I’m still not convinced that’s what it was. It started & ended with a lot of epigastric discomfort, & horrendous gas & bloating over the course of about 10 days. Yes, I had heart pain, but I also had pain in my side around my spleen & around my liver but I guess extreme gas pressure could potentially put a lot of stress on the heart & the other organs. If I managed to get rid of some of the gas the pains would go temporarily. But an out of hours doctor told me to go to the hospital for an ecg, which picked up the heart distress & raised enzymes & the hospital focused on that & ignored the digestive issue. So I’m now stuck waiting for an angiogram. The pain has gone & the heart seems ok (an echocardiogram found no obvious issues) but my digestion still isn’t right. I’ve not coped with fats very well for some time but now I don’t seem to be tolerating them at all & my BG will not come down, even with plenty of insulin - which is another reason why I feel this is far more digestion-related than heart-related. I know fats drive my insulin resistance & this is the issue, but not only would the hospital not know a smoothie if it hit them in the face, they also have no concept of what raw vegetables & salads look like. The nearest I can get to raw is that every day I’ve been given baked potato with butter, vegetables that look as if they’ve been cooking for 3 weeks (how on earth do they manage to make cauliflower brown??), or a bit of limp iceberg, 2 slices of tomato & two small chunks of cucumber (how do they have the cheek to call that salad??). Everything is stuffed with wheat, sugar, meat & stodge. This crap hospital food is doing absolutely nothing to contribute to health & is instead killing people from the mouth down. I’m the juicer & smoothie maker in my house. My hub wouldn’t know one end of it from the other. It’s 2am & I’ve been trying to think of what to do. I’m not generally emotional but I just bawled my eyes out because I feel so trapped. I think I may have to ask my hub to bring my blender & a bag of veg & try & do it here somewhere. I’ve hardly slept in the 4 nights I’ve been here, worrying about it all & trying to cope with the incessant noise of the air con system (couldn’t cope with the ear plugs). The irony is that I was just gathering info to embark on Dr. M’s protocol when all this happened.
