Alan Wade was granted a re-sentencing trial by the Florida Supreme Court and will now spend life in prison without the possibility of parole, instead of awaiting execution on death row.
Tiffany Cole and Michael Jackson remain on death row for their roles in the double-murder, but are both also awaiting resentencing due to the Florida Supreme Court's 2016 decision, according to First Coast News.

I absolutely cannot imagine what their daughter is going through… My mother passed away peacefully in a hospital bed and it’s still by far the most excruciating thing I’ve ever experienced in my 38 years of life… But losing both parents at once… Stepparents or not… In such an atrocious way-doesn’t seem like that kind of grief would even be survivable.. This gotta be one of the saddest & most heart breaking stories I've seen for a long time. That woman had such a rough life from 2 failed marriages... to a murder attempt where she got shot in the face 6 times by her ex-husband... to getting cancer & going through all the negative effects of chemo therapy... having a bunch of illnesses including hepatitis & diabetes! She only wanted to live her last couple of years of her life with the only person she every loved & loved her back. And they robbed her of that too.

Even before I’ve heard they’ve been murdered, the lead up is distressing. Carol had been through too much already and her and husband were terribly ill. I’m in tears. This is an incredibly emotive case and beyond heartbreaking. All deserve to die the same way they inflicted pain on that poor, kind couple and buried alive.

When I saw the picture of Tiffany I felt immediately that she does not seem a nice person. People often say do not judge others based on their appearance but, I have often found that you can have opinions based on appearance that are often validated later on based on their actions.

I thought the same thing when I saw her. I agree that it's not good to make judgements based on appearance most of the time. You should in most cases have an open mind as people are multifaceted. However, the word 'discrimination' can just mean making a judgement on something based on the information you have. Sometimes that information is the way they dress and look which can be telling. Neck or face tattoos mean the person probably has pretty poor judgement, a criminal past/present and maybe some other issues, for example. With her it was the eyes. She looked like trouble and we didn't even know she was involved at that point.

When I saw the thumbnail I had a feeling it was them. I initially heard this heartbreaking awful story by MrBallen. This story still stays with me. I cannot get over how horrible people can be. I had to stop watching this halfway, couldn’t go through this again

This is disgusting and horrible. Pure evil. The way the Death penalty is now in the US (decades of appeals and millions spent on them) I'm with them spending their lives in hell. I hope they suffer in prison. If death penalty is enforced after a year with these monsters then I'm all for it. They obviously did it and is not even sorry. They should be given the same mercy they gave their innocent victims-NONE.

If looks could kill, Tiffany would have fried from the look the Judge was beaming her way while she sat on the stand. I’m not a fan of the death penalty, but there is irrefutable evidence of their guilt, and. burying someone alive? How much more cruel and calculating can you get? I hope she gets at least life without.

I just found your channel….❤️ it! I’m such a weirdo for true crime….MY jaw dropped and immediately I was 😡. The horror of being buried alive#!? My mom’s greatest fear. To try to go in the mind of people who not only engage in the act of murder, but take it beyond the scope of evil…I can’t….I can’t understand the process of being so cruel. And actually live with what you did?? It always seems to be the people that give to others, care for others, welcome others that are killed with no mercy. People need Jesus.
