%100 on the Hidden Crisis of Seed Oils, Sugar on America's Public Health. #MAHA with RFK at the helm is the most hope I've ever felt in politics. There will be debates within such as plant v animal protein, animal fat v other fats, and the role of cholesterol in CVD and health. Looking forward to America moving towards health based on thesee principles.

I love the idea of forcing people on SNAP to buy fruits, veggies, water, milk, cheese and bread. Not monster, coke, corn pops, candy bars etc. The Govt doesn't care.

I don’t even believe these people should be allowed to get the benefits if they are a smoker. They spend their money on cigarettes then my money on crap food…. Then go get a new tattoo while scrolling on social media with their new iPhone.

My daughter, who has a speech and language disablity, only receives $50 a month on SNAP. We load most of her cart with veggies, fruit, and meat. She has to cook. We don't live anywhere near fast food. It's easy to slam the poor, but it's harder to live poor. She has the ability to work approximately 12 hours a week, gets a small social security check, and needs supplemental money from us as parents. Otherwise, she would have to eat cheap crap.

@@susanmarich5487 Nobody is slamming the poor who legitimately use SNAP the right way. The majority do not make wise choices with their money and it's likely a result of poor education. I'm glad SNAP at least helps her a little and bravo for doing it the right way. People in her situation should get more IMO.

This is why I eat a mostly animal based diet. Plus, all the anti-nutrients in veggies take from your body's mineral and vitamin content. Also I'm not keen on the pesticides that are in and on our fruits and vegetables. Just eat meat!!

Plant protein healthier than animal protein? I think not. What about all the oxalates and lectins plant proteins come with? What about the low amount of some essential amino acids? My stomach does way better on animal proteins

SNAP is a problem. There are food deserts in the USA. Areas where you cannot find healthy foods and those areas are usually in low income neighborhoods.

A major reason that health has recently become so important . Is the “pharmaceutical and health care industry”. THEY MAKE $ when we get sick! Need I say more?

While I don't eat seed oils (because they're so highly processed, and I stick with REAL WHOLE FOODS), the science has shown repeatedly that seed oils (canola, specifically), do indeed reduce inflammation and have a beneficial impact on all-cause mortality. Having said that, the big culprit is the fact that people are OVEREATING EVERYTHING because so much of what people eat is designed to be hyperpalatably DELICIOUS & ADDICTIVE. It's the massive amount of food people eat - and much of it being SUGAR & FAST CARBS... and an overload of fat too. If a person ate a super clean whole food diet, devoid of highly processed food but used canola oil instead of evoo, I bet you'd they'd be pretty darn healthy.

Everything about the 'McDonald's on a plane' photo screamed toxic, including being encased in an operating plane fuselage, while spewing out exhaust over the Earth for the sake of the convenience of getting place to place quickly. I mean, really, focusing on the toxicity of the food as the main problem of this photo?!

The amount of energy used in order to boil bones to make broth is a waste. Not worth the cost per any amount of goodness gained. Other sources are better.

If you have not analyzed the source material in the studies you quote you are misquoting science.
