4:30 Side effects of infected teeth
5:30 Remedies to prevent heart attack from infected teeth
In this video, we’re going to talk about a surprising hidden source of heart attacks. In his book "Hidden Epidemic," Dr. Thomas Levy reported that 78% of patients with myocardial infarctions and occluded arteries also had DNA of pathogens typical for infections in root canal-treated teeth.
This type of chronic infection is known as chronic apical periodontitis and often has no symptoms. As you’re chewing, you push bacteria deeper into the lymphatic system, affecting the heart and causing other inflammatory issues like arthritis.
Infected teeth are often missed on routine dental X-rays. C-reactive protein levels in your blood are a biomarker for inflammation and can sometimes signify infected teeth.
The infection can be in the tooth, gums, jaw, or tonsils. Pathogens in your mouth can create significant oxidative stress and free radical damage. One of the ways your body responds is by developing clots. Other symptoms include fatigue, chronic inflammation, jaw problems, and tooth sensitivity.
To strengthen your immune system and prevent the spread of bacteria from your teeth, take 1 to 2 grams (500 mg a few times a day) of liposomal vitamin C. Vitamin C works as an antioxidant to lower oxidative stress in the body.
Liposomal vitamin C is one of the only forms that can work at the intracellular level. Liposomal vitamin C will not cause diarrhea, even when taken in large quantities.

I had a failed root canal (5 roots instead of 4 -1989 x-ray tech did not see the extra) - so root canal done and I went on my merry way - no pain, no discomfort. BUT! I started getting bronchitis and pneumonia twice a year like clockwork and thought I was developing some sort of COPD or other issue. Then I started getting an abscess around the root canaled molar. Come to find out - the infection I had been carrying for 29 year was eating away at my jawbone and leaking every night into my bronchial tubes - causing persistent infection. Got the tooth extracted and voila! No more colds. Take care of your teeth and gums people.

Your infected root canals may be the reason for your miscarriage! READ "Hidden Epidemic - Silent Oral Infections Cause Most Heart Attacks and Breast Cancers," by Thomas E. Levy, MD, JD. You likely need to have those infected teeth extracted. You should get a 3D cone beam image of your mouth (have your dentist refer you to an endodontist who has this rig).

20 years ago I had a heart attack at age 33. Spent a few days in ICU and had every test one can think of done. It also peaked the interest of cardiologists at Boston University hospital. No-one could give me a cause. In fact nothing was wrong. No, blockage, low cholesterol, healthy 33-year old with no family heart history. Over the years I heard about the relationship between tooth infection and heart related problems. I was dealing with an abscessed root canal during that time. It has always been the only plausible explanation for what happened to me.

Now this makes sense. I've got horrible teeth from a long term opiate addiction. Once I got sober i had about a year with barely any pain. After that 1st year of sobriety all my physical pain came back with a vengeance. That same week my fibromialgia and RA started kicking my butt i had a bad abscess in my bottom teeth. I've got dental insurance but I know I'm looking at some serious surgeries and don't want to deal with the option of pain meds. This is where I have to start trusting that Jesus will give me the strength to walk through this. Thanks for this video Dr Berg, I truly didn't know my teeth could be making my body pain worse. Now I understand what happened to me due to my teeth problems that we could not afford to deal with. It’s sad to say that today at age 63 I could not have done better. When multiple costly emergencies strike and you have exhausted all financial means available, and you are a strong believer in Jesus, you have to trust he worked it out for good. Looking back, there was nothing I could have done differently, and I had to wait years until I could take care of my needs. Many, and perhaps most people live like this. Turn to Jesus, and you will make it through the pain and illness, despite the suffering. It’s how my family and I have been victorious, and survived.

My gosh, I'm so glad I stayed up late browsing KZbin. I have a root canal tooth AND an amalgam filling from when I was a child. I finally found someone in my city that is SMART certified to remove it, but I've been putting it off. I have much inflammation in that area, as the two teeth are separated by a terrible crown job. That area bleeds regularly and has for years. I will be calling TOMORROW to get this amalgam out and this root canal removed! I will also inquire about the cone scan. Thank you so much for your work!

I started to notice jaw problems, heart congestion, tonsil pain only at that site, absces, pain in gums and warmth. I went to the dentist to have the tooth removed bc the xray showed infection in the exact area you talked about. About 3 hrs after the tooth removed ALL the areas mentioned above went away!! It's amazing. Thanks for this video confirmation. Hope this helps

I had a personal experience with an infected tooth also that was pulled out finally. I was having neck pain on left side of neck to my shoulder joint. Also and still do have pain in my right knee joint. After having the infected tooth pulled my symptoms in the neck area calmed way down but I’m still dealing with pain in my right knee joint that can be attributed to the bacteria I had in my tooth. Like Dr Berge said, don’t mess around with dental issues. Get them addressed as soon as possible. The bacteria gets in your bloodstream and loves to settle in your joints and will destroy the joints as the bacteria eats away at them. And also an X-ray of your teeth roots does not always indicate infected tooth. The cold test has to be performed as well. If you jump out of the dentist chair when cold is apply then the tooth root is infected. Sometimes the root looks healthy in X-rays. So by all means don’t mess around with teeth issues. Get them resolved before the bacteria spreads. Wish I would have taken care of the issue sooner. I’ve been on antibiotics for 25 days now. That’s not good for your immune system. Having to also take probiotics to regain my gut health. Take care of your teeth and have regular checkups just like Dr Berge has said in this video. Good luck.

I can attest to that. I had an LVAD, artificial heart, while having congestive heart failure-waiting on a donor heart. They did a dental exam and said they cant put me on the heart transplant list until I have two teeth removed, that they have cavities or potential cavities and it could make its way to the newly implanted heart. Three years post transplant, I am required by the VA to have dental exams 4 times a year to make sure no infection/inflimation has not started. He said that is the quickest way to get heart rejection by untreated infections., especially dental since infections goes right into the bloodstream

I had a dentist leave alot of infection under the teeth after a root canal, and filling repairs. The root canal sight pain took three days to die down. He claimed this was nowmal, but I wonder. Ever since, my teeth became painfull and simple cleaning required so many shots to numb, my face felt as if it would slide off, and nittous oxide just to control the pain. AND, I developed a severe fear of the drill. Since then, I am put under for any dental work. I cannot hear or see a drill. Strangely, all my teeth rotted out, no matter how well I cleaned them. I wear inplants now, and do not miss my teeth, and all of that pain.

I started having severe teeth problems as you described but I fixed it. Here’s what happened: First tooth near the front was rotting from the inside with no pain. Dentist caught it and fixed it. He showed me the picture. It was almost gone. Second tooth towards the back started doing the same thing. I needed a crown. More teeth started getting loose. I thought for sure I needed to remove them. I was already taking massive amounts of vitamin b complex. Then, I added a little bit of vitamin A, zinc, copper, calcium, D3, chromium, k2, and the aminos l-glutamine and l-glycine. I also reduced stress by a lot and forced myself to sleep (or just lay there in bed) for around 10 hours every night. (But be active when I’m out and about… daily mile walks, bike rides, weight lifts) I saw things reversing within a month. Basically I’m old and stress was killing me. Today, I’m continuing to relax more and do the same things (sleep well and daily activities) and teeth are just about back to normal.

I was just researching this when your notification popped up. I have been having heart issues and testing for some years. Tests done come back normal. Recently I went to my chiropractor and told him I didn't know what was going on. He muscle tested me and told me my heart was fine, but I had inflammation and/or infection on my left side. The only thing I could think of was 2 root canals I had on my lower left jaw. He suggested I watch the movie Root Cause. I did. It sounded a lot like me. I found an Integrative Endodontist and had a Cone Beam x-ray. Both molars showed infection. A week ago, I had one molar redone. He uses ozone and laser treatment. My heart is feeling normal again. I will have the other molar redone in week. It has been an Odyssey. I have been refusing statins. The cardiologist said it would prevent a heart attack. It doesn't. I hope no permanent damage has been done. No one told me root canals should be checked every 2 or 3 years. I have had x-rays and they do not show what a Cone beam x-ray shows. As a child in the mid 60s I read that if you get bitten by a snake you have a better chance of recovery if you have good oral hygiene. That stuck in my head all my life. I never saw this mentioned anywhere else. But I had a root canal 3 years ago and watched youtube videos and realised how oral health impacts your life. I also learned how dangerous oral bacteria can be when my beloved cat had teeth removed and the vet told me how dangerous bacteria can damage the heart and kidneys. It was very hard to look after my cat's oral health but I tried my very best and I don't think it was the cause of his death a few years later but that broke my heart 💔

I'm on my 3rd in one year, 😨 What is important is to get regularly checked. They say x-rays are good for 3-5 years. Maybe x-rays should be done more often to check for symptom-free infections underneath the gums, especially if you have root canals.

To those of you with high blood pressure ,must look to your stomach ,if you have gastro cardiac syndrome,or hiatal hernia you blood pressure is going to be high ,nervous stomach also .you must not sit straight after finishing breakfast ,lunch ,or dinner ,because your full stomach pushes up toward your heart, and give you burning sensation on your upper chest.

I’m currently waiting for the dental assistant to call me for an appointment with the dental surgeon. Takes about a week or two to set up an appointment since the dental surgeon only is there once a month. I have a root canal infection and oh, boy this is the 2nd video I have came across informing people about infections in the teeth that can cause underlying health conditions. I love that this is informative so that way I can share this to my family because I did not know this. I’m kinda concerned what the dental surgeon is going to do my tooth/gum. 😅 If it means to fully extract the tooth from having anymore infections and saving myself from any future underlying health conditions, I’m all for it. REMOVE IT, PLEASE. ✨

No root canals done by endodontists not dentists are a far better choice than an implant. I have a mouth full if root canals and one implant that has been redone recently, lasted 15 years. Root canals do fail but can be treated and can last a lifetime without worry or issues if you switch to a whole food diet.

@@bhumikasoni8708 no that is not what they are trying to promote. Its all about pulling teeth and implants by many dentist crooks now. Thank you Dr, Berg. I live in England and we are short on dentists. I cannot afford private and even they have a waiting time of up to 15 weeks! Unfortunately our once upon a time fantastic NHS has been corrupted and no longer offers services such as the emergency NHS dentist. I have been living with often a times torturous tooth pain in the last 3 years ( I am on their emergency list as well, which I have been informed could take years!) and ended up four times in the emergency ward, where they no longer are able to offer you dental help, but instead you go home with pharma pills. During these attacks I have been going through heart pain. I have helped myself by consuming daily fresh lemon juice and I also used freshly ground turmeric to brush my gums and teeth with, which has helped enormously. Turmeric combined with black pepper has been part of my diet in the last two decades and has cured many issues I once had.

The fresh lemon juice might be the source of extreme sensitivity to tooth roots. Also fresh lemon juice eats the enamal. Drink the Tumeric in warm water but stop with the fresh lemon juice. Watch Dr. Ellie Philips and her protocol for remineralizing your tooth surface and improve dental healh. She has an incredible story of a young woman who sucked on fresh lemons and had severe root pain as a result. Dr. Philips was able to save the rest of her teeth! Hope this helps. In the sixties, as an Army Brat, I had access to the National Scholastic Summer Book Club. One of the books I purchased was titled The Blue Hand, a compilation of translated 1500 to 1700 doctor's journals. One of the journal entries emphasized the importance of removal of bad teeth and the doctor linked bad teeth to three quarters of his patents deaths, most of them impoverished. Dental care, even with a dental plan through my job, is cost prohibitive for me and many others.

I had a stroke at 57, female on no meds, quit smoking 5 years earlier. It took 3 days in hospital and finally an MRI to find it. Luckily I’ve had a full recovery other than numbness in the tips of my left fingers, my left nostril and upper left side of my lip. A week or so after, I woke up one morning to a toothache (upper left side) worse than childbirth pain. Dentist said I needed a root canal, first one and definitely don’t want another one. I’ve ever only had 6 fillings in my life and they were related to having braces in the 70s. After my stroke I was given every medical test you could imagine that I didn’t get in the hospital to determine the reason for my stroke and in the end they summed it up to stress but now I wonder if the tooth infection was the root cause 🧐

I would prepare a glass of water with 4 or 5 healthy pinches of kosher salt ( as strong as you can deal with , less salty than sea water ) and swish it around your mouth for like a min. and spit it out . I just leave the glass of salted water on the counter and do the rince a couple times a day or whatever seems right . The other rince I do is a product called 'Natural Dentist ' . which I only use once a day , normally in the middle of the night when you wake up and have trench mouth ..... Ha .
