@@TheMole2005 Like someone up top said. Super had a very lazy animation process. Both SSJ god and Blue are just recolored versions of SSJ. SSJ evolution ( mastered SSB ) was just a more more navy bluish. Golden Frieza is just a recolored Frieza with minor changes to positioning to his purple gem like attire and a bit more muscle. What i do like is that characters such as Jiren weren't given a transformation after a power up. Just his shirt got ripped and gained more muscle, which was fantastic and didn't way overdo the powerups with form changes.

Think of Cooler's fifth form this way: It's not that he trained his body to unlock more potential, it's that he simply used his race's innate shapeshifting to build a better body. If it helps, think of Frieza and Cooler as being structures made of legos. Frieza used training to harden the plastic until they were like steel, while Cooler rebuilt himself into a stronger structure using the material he already had. No contradiction.

Benjamin Blümchen Cooler was actually born with a much lower power level than Frieza. This infuriated Cooler to no end, especially when King Cold liked Frieza and spoiled him. That’s his motivation for training, anger and hatred for Frieza. He trained his entire life to become stronger than his little brother.

One thing that always struck me was how Cooler's accent (in the English dubs) was different from Cold's and Frieza's. In my headcanon, he was originally supposed to inherit Cold's throne, but Frieza was born and had more innate power, so he was shoved aside and raised by his mother, thus explaining the difference and also his resentment towards his sibling. This could also imply that Cooler is more willing to do hard work and train in order to gain power, unlike Frieza who seems to be comfortable with the power he was born with.

Cooler is my favorite character overall in the DBZ Universe. You don't have to remind me he's non cannon but just overall and I'd actually say Meta-Cooler over Cooler but still. Meta-Cooler learned from his mistakes, was much smarter and kicked both Goku and Vegetas asses. Cooler is my favorite Dragon Ball movie villain. I just always loved his design (especially in fifth form) and personality. Felt like a more low-key but cooler (pun intended) version of his younger brother. Cooler's Revenge was also the movie I saw the most of as a kid, along with Dead Zone- as I had those 2 on VHS. In response to 5:24, here's how I make sense of it. Frieza was always naturally stronger than cooler. As a result, Cooler trainedand eventually reached a level of power that required him to transform in order to maintain this strength. Frieza would later make a similar discovery when training to beat Goku. The difference in appearance is simply a matter of taste. Frieza outright says that he "chose" gold to represent his superiority. Cooler designed his 5th form appearance out of his insecurities. He's taller, has a deeper voice, and hides behind a mask. In short, 5th form Cooler and Golden Frieza are the same transformation with a vastly different look. Frieza's natural talent just exceeds Cooler's by that much.

Cooler's Revenge was the first DBZ movie I ever owned as a kid. And I always thought that Cooler was an awesome character! I honestly wish that he had been made a canon character so he could get some more character development.

Coolers fourth form is like an Augmented version of the 100% form. In terms of size, strength and speed, its a drastic change. In terms of power level however, its not all that different from Frieza's 100% form. Now it is possible that his power level could be slightly higher then 100%, but not by a vast margin. In fact I think the purpose of this form was to increase his strength and speed, which I have no doubt that it beats 100% form in those regards. And I do realize that Cooler was beaten way faster then Frieza, however I think it was his own undoing. Although Cooler maybe more mature and intelligent than Frieza, he's far more impatient. He had no intention on dragging out the fight, he prefers to finish things quickly. He just didn't count on Goku repelling his attack back at him, which took him completely by surprise. Honestly though, I think Cooler could have made the fight way longer, maybe even longer than Frieza, you never know.

i mean Frieza did state that he chose the colour of Gold, but he is also a powerful mutant. maybe Cooler just wasnt strong enough like Frieza and as he was overlooked by Cold trained relentlessly to his race's natural power up. maybe Golden Frieza is just an added mutation.

Freaza is a special case among his race, even greater than his mutant family. Freaza's potential is up to GoD if he keeps training for few years. i just do not think Cold and Cooler ever had this kind of potential to begin with. Cooler final form is a stage most likely achieved thanks to both training and he's shape sifting ability, but instead of making himself weaker like Freaza previous transformation did, Cooler pushed it for increasing his stats around 5 times in a road(basing on plvls)

The way I understood it, Cooler's fifth form was him using the transformation technique Frieza used to conceal his strenght to force it to a greater height instead. I thought of it as a different branch of transformation, not unlike how Super Saiyan God is attained in a way completely different from Super Saiyan 1-2-3.

My theory on 5th for is it's a mastered full power final form. Freiza bulks up, but Cooler took it like the inhibited forms and created a whole new form for his full powered stated, leading to even greater output due to an enhanced body, unlike the strain put on Freiza's final form

A genuine theory; what if Frost is Freeza's brother? Not literally, but biologically. Frost looks a lot like Freeza, and like him is Emperor of the Universe. So, what if in Universe 6, King Cold conceived Frost instead of Freeza. And in that universe King Cold wasn't a terrible father, so Frost wasn't a raging douchebag
