So, several time you refer to MBT's opening hand as the "God Hand." Let me tell you a little story. I played Magi-Psychics at the Maplewood, MN Regional in Dragon Ruler Format. The deck played a playset of Madolche Magileine as a way to make Arcanite Magician (and Supreme Arcanite Magician, but that's another story). It was a cutesy deck that tried to grind your opponent out with an endless conga line of dudes. I made it to game 3 against my only Dragon Ruler opponent of the day. Don't ask me how. After aggressively hate-decking, I elected to go first. My opponent hand - and I will remember this until the day I die - was 2 copies of E-Tele, Overdrive Teleporter, Mind Drain, Soul Drain. The board I ended on was Naturia Beast, Naturia Barkion, and Thought Ruler Archfiend. That, my friend, is the Psychic God Hand.

Woo! Rock Stun! I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of the build as this list presents it, although that may be a product of the era the show is in. This deck REALLY grows legs after Return of the Duelist when Catapult Zone, Tackle Crusader, and Revival Golem come out, which gets to take this part of the strategy and run rampant with it. Hope to see that version of the deck in this show as well since we seem to have skipped over it in History of Yugioh.

The deck also plays way better along side Skill drain. The Koaki meiru portion of the deck all resolve after tributing themselves for cost. So they go under skill drain.

Psychics have always been a fun type to tinker with. I still remember after the hit to Teledad I picked up those Psychic parts and made a Monarch deck that was quite fun, and I remember only making slight changes to it for years as banlists would hit it slightly or give it something else. By far my favorite card that is Psychic support never really got played, or at least between Jank and history of yugioh. That card being the quick play spell Telekinetic Power Well. Can't wait for more fun between the 2 series as both give me good and bad memories.

I remember back in 2014 or 2015 Cimo made a video about decks that are secretly OP and ko'kai miru was one of them and I did use that deck on dueling network yeah remember that to get like 200 plus rating in a day but my build was much different than that Good time

Sad we didn't get to see some of the other fun tech cards Rock Stun could use like Legendary JuJitsu Master or Morphing Jar #2, but the normal summon slot is so competitive in the deck that it makes sense. I'm also a bit surprised to *not* see Skill Drain on that list, since Skill Drain doesn't stop any of the Koa'ki rocks from triggering, and if Solidarity is up, you're very likely to win combat, though that might've just been a gentlemans call from Cimo.

In Game 3 22:50 Cimo can't activate Dimensional Prison after MBT plays MST, right? Dimensional Prison is activated on attack declaration, that window already passed and MBT activated MST? Not that it matters, it's just interesting because it's bugging me but you can't never be sure with Yugioh's complicated ruling.

This is relatively simple. Dimensional Prison activates on attack declaration and MBT activated MST before attack declaration, so there is no conflict with the activation timing of D-Prison.

MBT hadn't declared attacks. He just entered battle phase Even if he had, there is a thing called the attack decleration window which continues for the chain. So Dimensional Prison would just be chained to MST

MBT's commentary is usually pretty great, it really is nice to see him giving these decks their time in the sun. Maybe it's just because we're going into a one deck format but I miss the casual play I did as a new player and having a good time with friends just trying shit. The "this deck was bad because it never topped" or "this card is bad because I've never heard of it" does kind of create a downer attitude. I think jank is just more fun when its understood to be a more casual experience you know?

A lot of jank decks are like. 2 in 10, 3 in 10 deals. Sometimes you know the deck is bad but you pop off with Ally of Justice Thousand Arms and Break! Draw! and every defeat before kind of washes away under your one victory you know?

As someone who played rock stun during various points of the Zexal Era not summoning Pachi in that first turn of game one is just a crime. Then again the lack of using Pachi in these games just to assert control is questionable. The tilt and frustration factor of Pachi plus backrow is enough to win you the game based on how much you piss off the opponent. I know from experience ;)

Have you considered doing a series where 2 PURE archetypes battle it out, best 2 out of the 3 where you play all 3 matches but very first round is the original archetype and the last 2 is the archetype + legacy support 2 and 3 without generic cards or “staples”

Heavy Strom! That is what you get rid of and use Judgement for his monster if needed as you had DNA should have started with in Game 1. Game 2 use Dark Hole make the DNA stop Special Summons still; as it has a flip effect too that would destroy all special summoned monsters thus if made a Synchro with no immunity then wham as had double play option.

Vanitys gets destroyed if another card is sent from the field to your graveyard. So why didn’t Joseph mst a different backrow to force vanity to blow itself up? 2 for 1?

Vanity’s effects only start applying after it resolves. If you chain an MST to Vanity’s, the MST will resolve first, and no additional cards will trigger Vanity’s once it’s actually active. Joseph could have waited until after Vanity’s resolved, and then go for the 2-for-1, but that would mean missing the summon of Esper Girl. That’s also why he asked exactly when Alex was activating Vanity’s. If Alex just preemptively activated it in the draw phase instead of in response to Witch’s effect, then Joseph could have waited for it to resolve, got the 2-for-1 with MST, and still got his Esper Girl. Sadly for him, Alex waited for the correct moment.
