I actually came up with a Home Alone movie back when I was 14 and filmed it with my cousins. We assumed a sequel would be made before our movie came out so we named it Home Alone 7. The basic plot is that an 18 year old Kevin McCallister moves out of his house after Buzz pushes him too far and enjoys his freedom before Harry and Marv once again attempt to get revenge on Kevin with Kevin setting up traps again to defend his new and old houses. It’s on my KZbin channel still but I think it’s at least better than every Home Alone movie after the second one. We honor the first two movies and have little callbacks to them in our movie.

@AnimatedTerror4 жыл бұрын
@@SKOT_3 besides. Even with a new character the third movie was still mostly a retread. Mostly. They tried something different I’ll give me that. And overall I would recommend you watch mostly for the fact I think of the first three it has the best traps at the end. Honestly I see home alone (the first one) as this really solidly made family film. It shows what a kid would probably do if they had the house to themselves. What made it work is how adult Kevin acted. Whilst still being childish. He didn’t come off as a complete brat. He came off as a slightly more mature youngest in the family. He was a kid that could take care of himself. Which is where the plot comes in. Because he can take care of himself but when facing a bigger threat it shows the importance of family. Boom. Lessons learned. No need for sequel. Then they made a sequel that’s only good because it is a complete copy paste. It’s good because the first movies good. Actually it gets a brownie point for Tim Curry. But that’s it! The sequels, all of them, missed that part about Kevin being a more level headed and “mature” kid. and now it’s just bratty kids being bratty all alone. This movie isn’t just bad because of the new cast. It’s bad because they got a bad kid actor and told him to act like a brat. Now the kid is acting like a brat which in and of itself is annoying, but the kid is acting. You can tell. So now it’s all the fun of poor child acting and a child acting like a brat. Yay!

I remember liking it when it came out when i was still a kid. The movie would've been much better served to just be about different characters. Trying to force the McCallisters into this story was a huge screwup. It still would be the worst entry if it were about different characters, but less so.

Home Alone 3 was pretty good due to the expanding concepts and different characters. The way the story was set up was interesting too

A voice command to open the door seems a little redundant, but one to close the door would actually be pretty useful if you have siblings that desire for nothing more than to open your door, tell you nothing useful, and then leave the door open as they walk away.

5:27 After a bit of research, apparently: Marv in Home Alone 4 is supposed to be Harry, but due to misinformation in communication, or the writers not knowing a thing about the first two Home Alone films, he is mistakenly named Marv.

I always laugh at the scenes where "Marv" says "oh no what are we gonna do" sarcastically and when Missy Pyle says "anybody in ear" the way they are said by the actors is whats funny.

At our local grocery store, there are four working coolers/freezers and the frozen foods one doesn't open from the inside because one of the employees broke the handle off three times with an electric pallet jack. They stopped fixing it eventually and employees get stuck in there sometimes. It is honestly terrifying.
