I hope we find out someday what was in the pact...A couple theories i have include that no more than a small amount of people live north of the wall, and perhaps the wildling population got too big. Or that northern first men blood not be mixed with with Dragonlord blood, which would of course have been broken by Rhaegar and Lyannas conception of Jon. I find it interesting that Stark and Targaryen had not intermarried AND brought forth a child who lived to adult until that point (as far as we know).

Something broke the pact, probably something forgotten. I have no idea why something as important as "The Long Night", "The Pact" and "Consequences" wasn't etched into the walls of Winterfell considering the Starks supposedly have a large role in that (and maybe the wall itself) and there supposedly was always to be a Stark there.

The children of the forest were together with the first men fighting the WW according to Jon Snow when mining for dragon glass. Yes they created the night king to protect themselves from the first men initially, but in the cave JS said “ they were here together fighting their common enemy” & there were carvings of all three species on the ceiling in the tv series. Yes that could represent that they were all friendly but why the need for the long night? Also men would be able to get around the wall in a boat, whereas WW can’t swim according to the series

My theory is daemon Tragaron is the night king , they change him because we was either dead or dying after the battle over the gods eye . And they needed someone to lead the white walkers . He can't be burnt by fire , they showed thar when he flew thru vagars fire ball . And the night king was killed with the very dagger varseys had . Just my thoughts. Would be a nice wrap up 😊

Here's a theory for you: Arya died at the end of season 6. The waif took her face and became Arya for seasons 7 and 8 which explains why she acted completely different and also makes her killing the Night King make way more sense. It also explains why Arya would seek what's west of Westeros even though that came out of nowhere. It's because Arya was the Waif and she instead just wanted to go back to Braavos and that made as good a story as any to Jon and others.

That's sad!! Still a great theory though.

If “Arya” was actually the waif, Arya’s direwolf Nimeria would know she wasn’t Arya. I can’t imagine the wolf directing the pack away instead of scoring a tasty and thoroughly satisfying meal… Interesting theory though!

Bran the Broken is more powerful near the Weirwood trees. Do you think his power will diminish in Kingslanding?

But then why were the children of the forests with the three eyed raven?

Why didn’t the wildlings or white walkers just go around the wall? Surely it had a beginning and an end. Just find one of those and simply walk around it???
@lauraruane9807 Жыл бұрын
The wildlings did go beyond the Wall on raids. I do not think the white walkers can pass or travel on water. They did not go into the water at the Hardhome battle. The Wall extends from one coast to the other??
@tinahs8269 Жыл бұрын
Didn't it go coast to coast? So you'd need a ship to go around it?

I'd really like to believe the theory that the Wall was built to keep out Men. But how does it account for all the Wildlings living north of the Wall after the barrier was raised? And why were gateways allowing members of the Watch to pass through permitted?

The Children of the Forest have White Walker faces in the artwork shown in the videos. Is that intentional?

No...the reason for the wall stands as the children were fighting the Others and assisting the three eyed raven. I believe the Night king was looking for revenge for his turning. Think about this....when Bran and the three eyed raven whent back and looked at how the Night king was made, as his eyes turned blue and he was turned, he could see them there looking on as he was tortured and turned by the chidren and so blame the three eyed raven for what happend to him. I believe he saw them as he saw Bran when he warged and whent to see the army of the dead and the others and was Grabbed by the Night king. The Night king has the abillity to perceve them when they are warged and so, as he turned, it was as a veil was lifted and he saw them there. And as he knows in current times that the children are protecting the three eyed raven, he probably thinks that its hes fault and that they turned him on the three eyed ravens orders. After he was turned, he went to war to find the Three eyed raven but realised he was in the wrong time...thus they went back north and waited until Breydon Rivers became the three eyed raven and then began to rebuild his army of the dead. Thats why he killed Breydon in the cave and was hunting Bran. What do you think ?
