Doesn't seem like there's much you can do to help incels, because they don't want help, they want to wallow in misery and blame everyone else for their failures. Above all else, incels are entitled and lazy, that's why they never accept that their shitty personalities are to blame for anything, because then they would have to actually work on themselves, instead they blame society of their "bone structures", things that they can't change. Anyone who wants to help them will be met with hostility the instant they suggest that incels will have to actually do things to change their situation. Their idea of "help" is for someone to just give them a girlfriend, they don't want to do any work, they want everything to fall into their laps with no effort, and anything less than that is an attack on them.

I was an femcel (female incel) during my teenage years and let me tell you, the moment you leave the community, your life improves. I'm a woman who dates other women, and I used to complain about how no woman wanted to date me, meanwhile, I would stalk them, spread internalized homophobia and mysogyny around (I though I was one of "the cool gays") and had ridiculously high standards (only wanted white, short haired women, red hair if possible). It took me a lot of therapy to open up and actually talk to women, befriend and see them as people just like me, treating them the way I'd like to be treated. I mean, sure, rejection happens, but there are 7 billion people in the world, I can't expect all of them to like me, I get to choose how I deal with it, I can stay butthurt and complaining online or actually analyse my behavior and correct my mistakes. I'm happily engaged to a lovely woman who I plan to share everything with and we love each other more and more each day, there's always a way out.

As a 29 year old female virgin, who has been asked out on date as a joke more than once, it’s hard for me to identify as a ‘incel’ because of all the horrible things I’ve seen men and women have said who call themselves incels - and it’s hard for me to sympathize with the lot of them when they’re all angry and blame the world for their problems. They need to look internally and see that they’re the problem, not the people around them. I understand that it’s been me and my insecure mentality. I’m not beautiful, I’m not smart, I have a very disgustingly hideous body under my clothes, and I don’t think I’ll ever find someone who wouldn’t mind all of it (unless he was blind and didn’t have feelings in his hands so he can’t feel how gross my face and body are). The whole incel community - mainly the Elliot rodgers wannabes - need to stop blaming the ‘Chads’ and ‘Stacys’ and grow up. No one is obligated to date or have sex with you just because you’re nice to them.

You could even get paid for it, just look at any cam site and the variety on em! But of course a lot of people want romance or a relationship (not just casual sex), and that's when it gets harder. Because you have to be willing to be rejected, put yourself out there somehow, try again, be hurt... And not everyone is willing to do that. What's messed up is how people don't have sex and end up defining themselves as incels. This wasn't a thing a decade ago and with the majority of humanity it still isn't. It's normal to not have sex. What's not normal is having sex all the time or requiring it. This expectation for people to conform to this idea has never been so high, and especially now I think it's pretty obvious that people have less sex than before which makes it even more absurd. There's so much pressure to do something that almost nobody does. It's pretty normal for people to make fun of others for not being able to get laid, but now it's a label that people apply to themselves and it's taken to a whole different level. It's like every little nerd feels miserable for not having the sex life of Justin Timberlake in the 2000s. 50 years ago it wasn't even normal to have sex outside of marriage. It's really not that much of a big deal. Most of these incels would probably find a girlfriend eventually if they didn't call themselves that. I also think the current economic situation being a factor, the average, non exceptional young man can't really see himself taking on the responsibility of a relationship/marriage, so they think about casual sex which movies and tv shows depict as something that's supposed to happen every weekend, plus technology and social media have isolated people and it's just harder to connect with strangers outside, people just socialize on the internet or can only find new people at their jobs

@@pablodelsegundo9502 exactly he's not a bad looking guy at all, he could have no issue finding a gf, I know a guy who looks just like him whos had a lot of girls. I've seen some pretty dumpy looking guys in happy relationships bc they're very nice people, and also attraction is relative, people have different preferences in what they like. For example i prefer softer 'pretty boys' to the typical big muscular Chad types, while other ppl may prefer that. I'm always surprised when I see incels bc they're so normal looking. Id go so far as to say elliot rodgers was honestly attractive. I had no idea that incel was a term back in 08. I didn’t know about them until the Toronto Van massacre. I assumed the term was only around maybe a few years before that. Edit: oh wow! It started in the 90s! It’s sad that it started relatively positive. It sounds like it was a good community for people who wanted a relationship but maybe dealt with social anxiety, an alternative sexuality in a mostly hetero community, had a demanding work/school/family schedule, or some combination of those things. I know a lot of people who would love to date but life is just in the way of that for the time being, who are not particularly negative or bitter about it but rather voice their loneliness in a healthy way, and I never thought that the term ‘incel’ would technically apply to them. I have a good friend who’s been single for two years because he had two back to back abusive relationships with highly narcissistic women, and now he lives alone and works two jobs to keep his apartment without a roommate, on top of going to school online. He wishes he could date but acknowledges he has some emotional scars he’s working through, a busy schedule, and other goals he wants to achieve, so dating is difficult. He tries dating online but it doesn’t go anywhere, though he doesn’t blame the women. If you keep breaking plans to meet, it just isn’t meant to be at the time, and he knows that. He recently posted about how he’s proud of himself for even getting to know woman online, as that hade him very nervous, and he’s made a lot of friends that way, which is better than being truly alone. It’s so strange to think that term would apply to him, back before incels started becoming hateful towards women, men, and/or themselves.

I've dealt a lot with incels (not one personally, but take or leave my credentials, I'm rando internet guy with Pope Pius Wojack avatar) and what's funny is a lot of the activity that goes on in those communities still kind of is that stuff that happened when the first ones came out. Which is to say, basic helpful support group stuff at best and cope at worst. But a combination of times changing, the group's population expanding, and the view of the violent acts as the only way of making a statement (ultimately a political one) coming to integrate with the most bitter and damaged members of the communities has altered things for the worse. This last part was aided by the media, which these people view to be their enemy-- a thing not exclusive to them as a group in this country (and world for that matter)-- giving them attention for the things they did, and villainizing them. The "Your boos mean nothing to me. I've seen what you people clap for." meme comes to mind. There's been warning signs on this group of people for years and years, and rather than muster some effort or to conceive of this as the mental health crisis that it is, it gets framed as a gun issue-- which you may think what you like about, but is beside the point that in any case these people are ill. For a weird proto-example of the incel phenomenon, watch the documentary Crumb, about the comic artist and his two brothers, who are maybe some of the first post modern humans to exist. That was put out in the mid 90s and shot in the early 90s. It's also an amazing film. I guess my point is the "hateful" aspect isn't universal, so be careful with the brush you're painting with. It drives more of the "doesn't hate women, but is blackpilled into total nihilism" towards the extreme of violence, because they feel convicted of a crime they did not commit nor intend to. It's a vicious cycle, and it won't get better without some compassion from someone first. It isn't my or your responsibility or anything personally, but we should keep in mind that these too are humans. The rhetoric around this has to get better for the problem to.

I felt a lot like these men at the time, and it was entirely my own fault for not trying to talk to girls or considering myself a dateable option. I just automatically assumed the girls I liked already had bf's without any evidence, based solely on how pretty I found them, and my self hatred was at a lifetime high. I finally met someone on the internet though around senior year, a long distance relationship that eventually moved to my town, and I've had a healthy string of stable relationships since then, culminating in a family going on 16 years now, but if I had been swept into that community instead of finding a girl that fit me and whom I fit, and talking to her for hours, who knows what could have happened? Hot take: it's literally fine to not date anyone for a long time. I know that I've been in a few, I do want a relationship at some point, but I'm perfectly content with being single for a while if it means I can love myself and just relax. Hell, I've been single for almost a year by now but guess what? Still not an incel. If anything, being single made me focus more on loving myself and taking care of myself.

The biggest reason why it exists, is because not enough people learned from the tutelage of Ms. Frizzle. "Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!" Seriously. I know people who are so picky, so utterly convinced that they only deserve the best of everything, without ever earning any of it, that they will always be alone. Combine that, with the fact that most people segregated now. Interests are so specific to the person that there is no crossover. There's no incentive to be social, so people aren't. School. Work. Death. If you don't pick up someone in those first two things, where do you even find someone anymore? The literal only place to go in my town is the grocery store. "Why hello, I see you also are fan of not starving to death." Humans have forgotten how to socialize.

The incel project and the original idea of incels is actually nice, and I didn't know it started like that. Like a community of people who feel self-consistence about their inexperience, and can find comfort in knowing they're not as alone as they think they are. Sometimes I’m glad I was born a woman. I’m in my late twenties and a virgin and I don’t honestly think about it too often. I’m not religious and virginity doesn’t really hold any importance to me. I’m just not really interested in sex. I know if I were born a guy it probably would be something more important to me (even if I don’t personally mind being a virgin) because society has such a weird view towards men and sex. At worst people might find me, a woman still a virgin in my late twenties, a little weird. But for the most part I’m left alone for it. A lot of men don’t really get to be left alone for it.

Never heard about the Incel Project despite being an Incel. In my Opinion, Incels have only 3 Options, given that they can't find any Love. Nr. 1 : The Incel kills himself or herself Nr. 2 : The Incel kills Others Nr. 3 : The Incel detaches him or herself from every Emotion they have I was lucky, because my Parents died, when I was very young. I was left alone for 3 Days with the Corpse of my Father, when I was 1 Year old. I was saved after those 3 Days. My Mom died 1 Year later. I am one of the very few Exceptions, who could detach himself from everything "human". Now I am just an Observer of human Behavior. It's the most interesting Thing to watch Humans be Slaves to their Emotions. It's Fun trying to understand that which is not rational. How Men and Women use Emotions to manipulate each Other. Following their hedonistic Desires. Break-Ups and Divorces. Reasons for why People cheat. How Humans wear Masks (methaphorically) to fit into a certain Mold for Society in general or for particular Individuals. I was blessed and cursed. Blessed with Intelligence and the Understanding of human Society as well as human Behavior. And cursed, because I never could experience these Things myself and never will be able to. I don't think human Society as it stands now is worth protecting and neither are most Humans deserving of Respect. Mostly because they lack self-respect. They don't know, who they are. They don't know, where they go. People care more about instant gratification instead of long-term. People cheat on their Partners for some quick Pleasure and destroy their Relationships in the Process. They rather ask for Forgiveness for doing something wrong rather than not doing something wrong. When it comes to the hatred of Women and Men in the Incel Community, I can see, why they think like they do. You can only be punched this much before you start hating the Fist. And Society punches down on Incels. Going as far as to declare them Terrorists, as the US has done. Most Incels are still desperately looking for any Love they can. Without Success, of course. Otherwise they would not be Incels. And like any Child would, Incels start chaning due to a Lack of Love. Children need Love . And so do Adults. Neither of them will be the same, when Love is taken out of the Equation entirely. Being depraved of Love has a big Effect on mental Health. An Impact so big, that a lack of Love can lead to an Abundance of Hate. They get jealous, bitter and hateful. Most of the Time they start hating themselves, because the World has shown them, that there is something wrong with them. Some start hating the World for how it treated them. Cases like Elliot Rodger are an Exception to the Rule. Incels, who have become so hateful, that they lash out. Society has to understand, that the Search for Love is toxic for Incels. It destroys their Being until there is nothing left but hatred. I probably would have been an Elliot Rodger, if I was unable to detach myself from my Emotions. But I detached myself and now there is nothing but Apathy towards Love and Relationships. Humans can't hurt me. Humans can't control me. And that is what set me free.

I don't know what "love shyness" is exactly, but shyness and/or introversion is an inate personality trait (one I have myself, not incidentally). Babies are born shy or extroverted, just like they're born to be "straight" (UNlike myself) or gay, have brown hair, be 6' tall, psychopathic, altruistic or any of a whole spectrum of physical and psychological traits. Genes and the intrauterine environment work together to shape 90%+ of a newborn infant's personality and body. There's no evidence so far that anything after birth, certainly not therapy and psychology, can change that at all. They can help to modify behavior, compensate for what one might consider to be negative aspects of his or her personality, or channel it in positive vs destructive ways, but not the underlying personality itself.

When people say things along the lines of 'looks aren't everything' or 'just be yourself', it's not bullshit, but it's worthless advice unless it's followed up with 'as long as you show confidence'. That IS the absolute key yet it's relevance is kinda skimmed over. When people give advice like go to the gym or join groups, etc yes, it's to meet people, but wayyy more importantly it's because interacting with others WILL eventually make you more confident. Around 5% only of the global population with most of them also having multiple children that compensates for the low number. This contrasts with an average of 30% of women from one man having multiple wives being a mostly acceptable practice. Point is that in any place, it is the norm and you should expect to die alone. Only now the numbers have risen slightly and it's gotten to everyones head along with the entitlement of modern society and that in our decadent times there is less risk of dying every day in ridiculous fashion that throws the number off. Hell yes, but I know not all men are like him. I married a great man who will never even think of doing those things and if I had held what my ex did to me against my husband, wouldn't you tell me that "not all men"? I'd imagine so. Look you are a woman, its different because the amount of choice and control you have in dating is immense, you know that always can find someone and you can be as choosy as you want, the average man don't have even 1% of that level of choice, imagine a below average man then,The years go by and you really don't have anyone who considers you attractive, what do you do?

Hm... this is a really interesting video, good job! 🙂 I'm not gonna lie, I can sympathize with certain aspects of these dudes' lives, like I get how it feels to have an awful time trying to meet a woman and how it makes you feel pretty bad about yourself after a while; I understand all that... but of course the toxic part of this group is a whole other thing entirely. Like I said, I get it to a certain extent- but when you let your own insecurities eat at you to the point where you're just angry at the entire world then of course that's a major problem. At that point you're not even trying to work on bettering yourself, you're just mad because you feel like nothing is wrong with *you* at all and the world should cater to your wants and needs- *exclusively.* You know what I think is so bizarre about that line of thought? In an "ideal incel world" (I know I'm generalizing here but bear with me lol), women would literally just have sex with anybody, at any time, anywhere, and that's all they would ever do. They would be like sexbots: devoid of any personality and only interested in having sex with _anyone;_ and then what would happen if that were the case? These same dudes would be mad that women are having sex with everyone and they'd call them whores and other derogatory terms because *that's the same thing they do right now!* I feel like so many of these dudes want that kind of reality so bad that they don't even think about how dehumanizing it is to think of anyone like that. I would feel the same way even if the reverse were true, and women only thought of men that way. It's insane either way is what I'm saying. Meaningless sex is cool for a second until you realize that you'll never be *loved.* I don't want that. I want someone I can talk to and steal flowers out of my neighbors yard for and who cares about me- not just constant meaningless pleasure that's gonna make me feel more empty inside than I already do lol. I hope that makes sense lol. I got impaled in the leg with a forklift blade at work the other day and I'm on so much medication that I can't think straight 😂

@@whitesharia-incellah8838 What's a concubine? Like a nun? That's insane. Idk why people make such a big deal about virgins lol 😓

@@justinburchette A concubine is basically a mistress, a woman who is a mans pro perty but not married to him.
