I have longed to be a lone wolf from when I can first remember. I recall when my mom first dropped me off at a small daycare facility. The entire time, (maybe two hours), I was there I hated it! Clear as day, decades later I remember the feeling of not liking being in a group of people. I never went back and to this day I loathe being in groups of people.

Once I finally got past seeking validation from a woman (in a romantic relationship) and learned that I was OK, I was well on my way to Lone Wolfdom. This happened 7 years ago at age 54. Life is so much better now.

You are so right with all if this. I never considered myself a lone wolf. Came from a big family, married into an even bigger family. Divorced after 25 years of marriage. The full life turned empty over night. I learned a lot about myself and cut out many friends and family that were toxic. By choice, I have only a few close friends (that have been in my life 25-40 years). My work, now, is my primary regular social outlet. I have had to do some major adjusting. I love my alone time and I love my social time too. So the balance is good 👍

As a lone wolf, I believe the concept that "nothingness" is something in it's own right....

I think it's normal for us to also ruminate, resent, and regret. Like there's nothing wrong with that. This is a dualistic experience. Some of those 'r' words help you define your boundaries and learn to not care so much what others think of you.

That's what Sister Wendy (PBS art nun) used to say. She said other people would look at her as weird when she'd say it and she was a nun! She's on YT and the web by the way. I find this concept very inspirational on a spiritual level.

Hey great question! I have a 1:1 program where I coach people from around the world. Been doing that for the last 4 years and luckily it's been keeping me afloat! Not gonna say it's always smooth sailing, but highly satisfying and rewarding. Lone wolves makes great entrepreneurs! They thrive in positions where they are given a lot of autonomy... don't necessarily like to be leaders but can be seen as one.

@speciallion1135Ай бұрын
@@frayamortensen Feedback observation : This is the amusing thing, in this AI society…..it’s always asking for feedback. Anything you buy or any service which is provided to you, there is nearly always a follow up email, to ask for feedback! My reply, if I give any, is; “If you did your job, according to your conscience in the first place, you wouldn’t need to ask me how you were doing” AI doesn’t know how to handle it, because it doesn’t have a conscience. Anyway, it’s generally known, amongst the mindful kind, that AI is generally built on the negative feedback which people give it & incapable of having original thought, because it lacks soul, knowing & wisdom. It only spews out information, which it collects as data. It’s no wonder then, that people who are able to sit alone, feel that they live in a world surrounded by programmed robots, who have been bought under the guise of social expectations. ‘Think out of the box’? NO, - get rid of the box! 🙏🏻

if I go by that chart the majority of my life since late teens early twenties would be around that 60 year mark which is because I am a loner people tend to drain me lol I think that since the internet started what people call aloneness really isnt aloneness because we can chat online watch videos on places like here its not even close to what real aloneness is like aloneness would be driving int oa forest with knowone around the only thing is nature all you can here is mostly the silent scream of nothing which personally I think everyone should do this for at least 4 days a year to reset themselves , I am not anti social or anythign but I am alone maybe talk t oa person or two a day but mostly if I am grocery shopping or goign for a walk I will say high to people and I hear people all the time all around me in the apartment building I hear sirens trafiic noises and people noises all the time that isnt aloneness because people are all around you ca nsee them hear them ;) in my lifetime of over 60 years I have met a fair amouibnt of people and out of all those people throughout those years I hmay have had 2-3 true real friends all the others were people from work which are acquaintance even if you go to their homes for a BBQ. anyway I am babbling I wil lsay like I said in the beginning I am a lone wolf because people can be very draining but als oI know who I am inside and out most people dont know this they are who they want people to think that they are or maybe they are what others want them to be ;)

I'm female and when I was in my 30s all of the vibrantly beautiful, creative, intelligent women I knew would take me aside and tell me how depressed they were. It blew my mind. Some had great husbands and kids too. I'm normally a happy camper but I was also one of those gals who liked to hang with the guys. Now I've got to be alone with just my hubby due to health issues. I now understand that because our world is patriarchal us women really do have it worse in society. But hey, we're primates so that's how it is. Maybe humans can evolve past that but I'm not gonna hold my breath. lol

@@websurfer5772 no way, im seeing it the other way around, my mother used to tell me "its a mans world" and i could clearly see us males could enjoy so much things, bikes etc, are all mans stuff, and women seemingly had not much to enjoy in this life, however now i am seeing all the benefits of a womens world, they are accepted everywhere, they have a easy life, they are accepted and enjoy the work world and accumilate money very well, they go out and have fun, males lives are so bad you have no idea really. we all are seriously unhappy, unless we have a reasonably good normal life. anyway, yeah everything balances out, yin yang etc, its obviously equal in many ways for each sex, if anything its just opposites, so women get all the BBC they want, men don't get all the young girls we want do we. no.

Our primary purpose is to help the alcoholic addict who still suffers... That community uses up a lot of free time, I cherish my time alone and dig awaiting to hear from my higher power in meditation doing the dishes, taking a bath, gardening, sitting on a surfboard in big water, sitting in a boat or kayak in the middle of a lake or stream side fishing. I also cherish the time spent interfacing with my children. Life is full, I am blessed beyond measure, I am grateful. If we have a connection with a higher power then we truly are never alone.
