Honestly I'm a fan of the diamond gem, this doesn't decrease the rarity or value of a blue gem just makes a cheaper option available for those that want a blue knife without paying hundreds of thousands.

It's rare, looks 100x better than a case hardened blue gem, and slowly there is more and more demand for it so everything is given for a new ''gem knife'' and I'm pretty sure the prices will go higher and higher over some time.

LOL when Slaid’s video came out I made the guide just so I could personally use Ctrl F to find a good tier karambit because I was going to buy one. But it’s crazy to see people selling these for overpay. But I mean they do look really good. Slaid put in a ton of work for the karambit tier list as well as his new flip knife tier list!

I have an all blue inventory and the biggest mistake I have ever made was buying a talon knife marble fade instead of a karambit gamma doppler phase 1 right before the switch to CS2. In GO they looked so dark and dull I opted for the marble fade

People still think these are broken when they aren’t. You can check valve’s workshop guide when CS2 released. They even said for the lighting they won’t accept anything with a lower RGB value than 90. People just gonna have to deal with it, they look 100x better in CS2

the main reason it caught on was because the skins look amazing, but it wont undermine the case hardened market. the buying market of these diamond patterns hardly intersects the market for the blue gems.

right but the gammas look 10000000% better and you can't say I'm wrong, because they do, even the ring on the karambit is full blue unlike the 661 pattern for the blue gem karambit. these will sky rocket in price I know it. Unless valve fixes the skin itself which they probably won't.

@@skeezix5117 ofc these particular patterns look way better than the blue gems but still the blue gem buying market do not buy for the blue itself they buy for the fact that the patterns are incredibly popular and have a very long and deep history within the community, basically a status symbol. which is everything that these diamond gems do not currently have. in my opinion the t1 will probably not go too far past a ruby

I liked the gamma dopplers since those were added. When I traded my Snow leopards and BK Stained for a M9 GD FN 0.001 Phase one, some friends thought I am insane (although cash price for both items it was pretty even with the M9). Now year and a half later the M9 is more than 20% higher. Just get what you like, despite what people say. I am glad I profited from my liking of a certain skin but I never really aimed at it. I was surprised why the price was getting higher and higher, now I know why. The skin looks way better in CS2.

This was a fix... they lightened all the dopplers. Heyzeus is just drumming up drama by calling things broken... Exactly how is it broken when it looks better? The truth is it's only broken for the high teir collectors because it might impact their bottom lines. They are biased for a reason. Truth is Valve fixed the dopplers and some look better than others.

They are too bright and washed out. There is a fix but this is not it. Look for the video from Gemsri Gregory called "Gamma Dopplers & Marble Fade in CS2 (how they currently look vs. how they could look)". His version is a thousand times better than the mess we have now. You can clearly differentiate between phases and patters. Now they're so bright, that when I look at my dopplers it's like I'm getting flashbanged!
