When I first read this issue I didn’t care for it for a one of the reasons you mentioned, as it was hard to tell what was going on with the sloppy art. Your narration really helped with that and overall made this a more compelling tale of man against beast. Still I do find it a bit hard to believe godzilla would be all that bothered by arrows but I suppose exploding the cave onto him was clever enough! Hannibal was a double ended sword, he see,ed pretty badass but His indifference to his men dying and the fact that there was a giant super destructive monster really made him feel one note and stale. I do think the best parts of the story were some of the specific shots we get to see, like the soldier just under his tail and hannabal climbing onto it. I just noticed the whole rocky dorsal plate get up and I gotta agree thats pretty cool, i’m also digging the big fangs now too.

I'm seeing a BIG inaccuracy in this comic with regards to Hannibal. This comic has Hannibal with only one eye in the Alps. Hannibal DID historically lose one of his eyes, but not until MUCH later, when his forces were inside Italy and traveling in between two Roman armies that were hunting him. They took a route through a deep swamp/marsh/bog that everyone thought NOBODY would cross through, but they did. There, Hannibal's eyes became infected by a marsh disease that he refused to have treated until they got out of there, but by then, it was too late to save one of his eyes, so he had a surgeon remove it.

I want a Kaiju movie that shows ancient humans across history teaming up with giant monsters and see how they interacted and how they created civilizations and temples to honor the titans. We need a Kaiju movie that isn’t just Kaiju fights in the modern day or in the city with military, we want original stories set in the ancient past of how man and monster fame together, imagine the possibilities of that! KaijusaurusG2K I would definitely love to see that either as a movie or more so likely a TV series, it’ll definitely be awesome to see how ancient humanity has somehow managed to live peacefully with the Kaiju, how they interact with the Kaiju’s, how they embraced the Kaiju’s as their gods, and how things started to fall apart towards the end where Kaiju’s started going against ancient humanity leading up towards the ice age where all of the Kaiju’s went dormant in hibernation after the collapse perhaps for Godzilla to have his story be told a little longer throughout the ice age through some more ancient history human times before Godzilla then stays dormant and begins to hibernate as well.

James Varela definitely agree. Even if we don’t get any more monsterverse films, we could still have tv shows about the monsterverse! We need more than just city fights or military fighting monsters, we need a show of ancient humanity bonding with Kaiju in ancient times, as well as how the Kaiju came to hibernate in places all over the world and when monarch discovered them!

To me, the dorsal spines really look like coral. Stalagmites/tites make more sense for the cave setting and they look more similar to the spines, but coral could be cool since Godzilla is very aquatic
