The Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race is the world's longest certified race. Founded in 1997 by Sri Chinmoy, it has run annually for the past 27 years. Each runner strives to complete the distance of 3100 miles within the allowed 52 days. An average of just under 60 miles a day.
