Just because he fought Abus first doesn’t mean they didn’t work on technique’s and ways to destroy Izzy. Sean never looked as good as he did until after training with Pereira. Poatan beat Izzy 3 times and surely had great information to help Sean wreck Izzy for 5 rounds straight. Sean could of beat Abus with out a day of training☝️🤔

The craziest part about Periera being on this insane run he’s on, even when he iced Izzy in their first UFC fight, you can hear him saying on interview “I hope he keeps fighting, it would be a waste of his skill for him to quit” which is a crazy level of forgiveness I can’t quite understand.

Yeah, that was what really got me That and the way he behaved and his mindset after his loss to Adesanya. Adesanya was very disrespectful on his celebration, but still there was no bad blood on Alex's side, he just said that he was happy that Adesanya finally made his dream come true (the dream of beating Alex) and it didn't felt like sarcasm, he sounded legit Feels like the feeling that Adesanya has for Alex is way stronger than what Alex feels for Adesanya. It feels like Adesanya has deep hatred and is also somewhat jelousy about Alex, as if Adesanya wanted to reach the peak but he always felt he never surpassed that guy. While Alex sees Adesanya just like another fighter he respects but he always moves on.

Nah, man. Most forget or don't know how hard Israel Adesanya fought to achieve interim and then undisputed champion. And then defend and try his hand at the LHW title. Picked a fight with Jones for years. People hate him as a man, but as a fighter, he is e Legend. Adesanya the fighter is a major draw.

Adesanya is just not a guy I’d want to be around. Constantly humblebragging and showing little to no respect to his fellow warriors in the sport. Yes, he is amazing to watch fight, but he is not a man of honour or character. Pereira is a return to the stoic, humble champion. I loved watching him in Glory, and was excited to see him make his way to MMA. To see him succeed so beautifully and still remain grounded has been awesome

best thing Izzy has ever done the PED The Last Dog Bender has one of the worst resumes name wise ever only been champ cause Izzys MW was the worst division in the UFC and now Alexs resume is already better than Izzys I love it 😂 resume is about which fighter did you beat and Alex beat 5 champs, 1 twice while Izzy never ever fought 1 wreslter/grappler, lost to Rob in the rematch and is on PEDS but when you do research you realize every top UFC fighter ever and rn is its literally impossible to fail an USADA test unless you are completely stupid lol I did so much research lol and Lance Armstrong was on EPO and HGH his entire career and passed 216 USADA tests never got caught and the UFC was like "yeah thats the guy we will hire we know all of our fighters are on roids/PEDS anyway lmao CHAMA

@@HUGH-bl5uwI don't think Frazier had as many haters as Izzy though. People always look for something to hate on Izzy and in the internet era, it spreads far to other casuals. It also didn't help that he said that "I beat that guy once" insult about Pereira, but it instead happened to him. He already said in his interviews with Mighty Mouse that he ain't interested in a rematch because he beat him once. So this will tarnish his legacy.

A standing 8 count is not controversial in most cases. The fury/usyk standing 8 was pretty whacky but only because he waited so long. Standing 8 counts can prevent fighters from getting killed.

Yeah but I never cared for Izzy but I have a newfound respect for him being the man that knocked Alex out cold. It's quite an accomplishment it turns out. My guess is Izzy dominates dricus to get the belt back and he'll either call out Strickland or call out Alex for the LHW strap. Alex called Izzy out when he got that strap. I think we'll see em fight again. But man...... Alex is stone cold killer
@owet4715
@owet4715 4 ай бұрын
@@heathswinson6506 Imo Strickland really brought Izzy down to earth in a major way and I wouldn’t be surprised if Dricus stops Izzy. Ya but that’s at middle weight. We already saw Izzy fight at LHW and let’s be real, it just doesn’t translate. He got beat up by Jan. I think Izzy is better off to just stay and further his legacy at MW. Especially if he loses to Dricus.

Alex's story is only something people dream of living, and thankfully it isn't over yet. So excited to see what he does next and if he solidifies his grappling he can without a doubt take HW gold, too. Unfortunately, GSP was before my time, Anderson Silva was before my time, but I am so glad to be in this era watching history take place.
