I guess the counter argument here is that not everyone who lost land in these wars "started" the war, or really participated actively in it. Many believed they had to flee for their lives even if they didn't care about the war. So it's maybe unfair to lump all the Palestinians in with the ones that actually waged war at the time. On the other hand, life isn't fair and sometimes you have to take your lumps when you're caught up in a lot of bad luck and move on. But then you can retort that they have nowhere to move on to any more. The same leaders who caught them up in the war won't let them immigrate or annex into friendly neighboring countries, keeping them bottled up in Palestine as basically an entire nation of human shields holding back Israel from becoming fully settled. So I would say many Palestinians are victims of a great injustice but it's not just at the hands of Israel but also various Arab leaders and the United Nations.

As you have previously stated numerous times - under the Ottoman Empire (until 1918) most of the land in Israel (only named Palestine by the UN and British from 1920-47) was owned by people who didn't live there. The landowners were mainly but not exclusively Arabs who lived in Damascus, Beirut etc. The 'local' Arabs were nomadic. The Jews raised money during the British mandate and bought all their settlement lands from the foreign owners, cleared and irrigated it, created industry, agriculture, ports and railways, sparking a wave of Arab immigration from surrounding Arab countries. Then, of course, the attempt to displace the Jews in 1947 didn't go well. Arab immigration to Israel from 1920-47 was just a form of failed invasion - similar to what is going on in Europe now.

2 million of Israel’s citizens are Arabs. That’s 20% of the population. They’re the descendants of those who chose not to partake in the violent war in 1948, and didn’t try to riot against the newly established Jewish government - so they weren’t driven out and didn’t flee their homes. They’re doing fine, much better than their brethren in most nearby Muslim dictatorships. Lots of Arab pharmacists in Israel. A Supreme Court judge. Plenty of doctors too. My GP was an Arab. Those who adopted the Palestinian identity and swore to bring down Israel are just bitter - they bet on the wrong horse, and lost everything. Later on, UN decided to unjustly give the european migrants (todays israelis) 55% of the land while their population after mass migration was around 400,000 compared to palestinians 800,000. This essentially as u can imagine made the palestinians lose even more land, forcing even more to move out of their own homes. Add insult to injury, the land that was given to the euro jews had far better land for farming and sea ports. As u can clearly see, this is not a fair deal.

Religion is a system of control used to play on peoples subconscious mind state. When you come into this world you were not born with any religious text attacted to you. Many churches pastors and other religious groups use scare tactics to get you to give in and give up your conscious mind state. Making you a walking zombie. Light comes from darkness not the other way around. They have you backwards. Why is it when u go to a church they dont present any facts they just said believe or god said. But they dont present you with any math, science, or historical facts to support what they are telling you. They just say if you dont believe your going to hell. Much of it is brain washing and used to control humanity. There is no man in the sky controlling the universe no heaven or hell. Buddha, Jesus, Allah all are one in the same all the texts are one in the same.They all talk about the universal mind and how it works. And different time periods of the world and the state in which it has and will go through. Much of these names and religions were made up by man. We gave the elements of the universe human like attributes even more so making them human giving them names and birthdays times and seasons. All of this was just a way to study and relate to the universal mind as a whole. People do your own field research because there is a answer for everything. Peace and love to all.

"It is utterly impossible to obtain the voluntary consent of the Palestine Arabs for converting Palestine from an Arab country into a country with a Jewish majority. My readers have ageneral idea of the history of colonisation in other countries. I suggest they consider all the precedents with which they are acquainted, and see whether there is one solitary instance of any colonisation being carried on with the consent of the native population. There is no such precedent. [...) This is equally true of the Arabs. They feel at least the same instinctive, jealous love of Palestine as the old Aztecs felt for ancient Mexico, and the Sioux for their rolling prairies. [...) Every native population in the world resists colonists as long as it has the slightest hope of being able to rid itself of the danger of being colonised. That is what the Arabs of Palestine are doing, and what they will persist in doing as long as there remains a solitary spark of hope that they will be able to prevent the transformation of Palestine into the Land of Israel." - [12] The Iron Wall, Vladimir Jabotinsky. "The iron law of every colonizing movement, a law which knows of no exceptions, a law which existed in all times and under all circumstances. If you wish to colonize a land in which people are already living, you must provide a garrison on your behalf. Or else, give up your colonization, for without an armed force which will render physically impossible any attempts to destroy or prevent this colonization, colonization is impossible, not "difficult", not "dangerous" but IMPOSSIBLE! According to Chatgpt4o: The word "Palestina" comes from the Latin "Palaestina," which in turn has roots in the Greek "Παλαιστίνη" (Palaistínē). This term was used by the ancient Greeks and Romans to describe the region located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. Originally, the name referred to the Philistines, a people who inhabited the southern coastal part of the region. The term was adopted by the Romans in the 2nd century AD, particularly after the Bar Kokhba revolt (132-135 AD), when Emperor Hadrian renamed the Roman province of Judea to "Syria Palaestina" in an attempt to eradicate the Jewish identity of the region. Since then, "Palestine" has been used to refer to this geographical area in various historical, cultural, and political contexts.
@GingkoBlossom15 ай бұрын
Precisely. “Palestinians” have bloodlines from other original Arab nations. “Palestine” was simply a catchall geographic reference to a land mass. That said, the people living there, born there, surely deserve a home. But the land was lost in a war against Israel, who was the victor. Losing indeed does not make you a victim. It behooves the huge, vast Arab nations to absorb their own people. The only reason Israel is seen as an occupier is ANTISEMITISM. Done. Fact.

@@colonol1239That is sort of true. Studies checked a connection between canaanites to today's local population and found that Jew, Palestinians and Lebanese have canaanite DNA. However if we look at the bible we see that God told the Jews to take the land from the canaanites and kill them. The Quran although not mentioning the name Canaan, also supports this (The canaanites did not believe in one God, they were pagans) so basically we can all agree that the land was promised to Jews by God, the former inhabitants were killed by his demand.

I sympathise with your argument. But be careful, it's a fragile line: Israelites colonised Canaan according to the Tanakh! How far do you go back in history to prove ownership?
@annakirshenbaum14586 ай бұрын
@tiosurcgib Tanakh is not a historic document. It's a book of Israelite mythology. Not to say that myths cannot turn out to be true, but they are not by default factual. No historical record, as far as I know, supports the notion of Israelite invasion from the Sinai desert. The archeological and historical findings we do have paint a picture of Israelites being Canaanite tribes that slowly came together to form a nation. However, even if the Tanakh story of Egyptian slavery was true, it still shows Israelites to be Canaaneans - they became Israelites in Canaan, they went into Egypt from Canaan, and they returned from Egypt back home into Canaan, never seeking another home or another land for the next 3500 years. If that invasion did historically occur, and we to this day did have victims of that invasion around - I'd agree that you have a point. But what we have is (1) a conquest that may or may not have taken place, (2) by a bunch of local, not outlander tribes, (3) with victims that may or may not have been, and with none of them remaining today, (4) and a small nation that only ever asked for a small piece of land for themselves, nothing more. Contrast that to the grand colonization by Arabs... these two are incomparable. So, no, I don't think I'm in danger of presenting a fragile argument.

It can depending on the context of why the war was started in the first place. Most people like yourself believe the war in 1948 was unprovoked. This isn't true at all. From the moment the Zionist Jews arrived during the British mandate. They had plans to ethnically cleans the region of the Palestine people. There news articles and quotes from Jewish leaders stating that the only way to build a Jewish state is by getting rid of the Palestine people. This is part of why there was so much tension between the Palestine Arabs and Jews. That and there was a lot of mistreatment of Palestine even back then. Some will point to the partition plans. On surface those partition plans sound great but they weren't not from a Palestine point of view. 80% of the population was Palestine Arabs. Much of the land was owned by Palestine Arabs. The Partition plans would have forced Palestine to leave their lands and homes and communities behind and have to go some where else and rebuild from the ground up. The Palestine found this to be unacceptable. What's worse is the Jews were offering nothing in terms of compensation. They just expected the Palestine to hand over their lands and homes so Jews could build a state. When Britain pulled out and Jews declared their independence and their statehood this was the final straw. The Palestine had every reason to believe that Israel was eventually going to force them off their lands and homes. How can the Jews declare their statehood when the Palestine live on the vast majority of the land. The only way that could happen is if they took the land from them to build their statehood. So while the Jews didn't like do anything military wise to provoke a war. They were being passive aggressive and gave the Palestine Arabs every reason to believe that they were going to attack them thus provoking a conflict.

What most people forget, and which I learned from a Congolese neighbour doing a master in history at my very anti-semitic university (well many students are openly anti-semitic so it makes the school unsafe for jews sometimes), is that the jews bought much of the land from the Arabs starting in the 1900s. The jews were mistreated everywhere, they knew at some point they needed to be the masters of their destiny. They wondered what will happen when everyone expels them. So, those who could started re-buying land in Israel, land which belonged to their ancestors but for the sake of legal purposes needed to be legally re-purchased. The interesting thing this neighbour told me is that this business of selling land was so profitable for these settler Arabs that they even went abroad to look for jewish buyers for their plots of land. Why? Obsession aside, the Palestinians have a country called Jordan. Israel is very small, insignificant in size compared to the gigantic Arab nations around it, these people who were selling this land were not having any issues buying new better lands in any of the surrounding countries.

Jews bought back ancestral homeland, but have not claimed it for Jews alone. Yes, the Jewish state of Israel provides a certain dominance, which ensures their religion a safe haven. Vladimir Jabotinsky 1880-1940 - Post-Herzl Zionist ideologue. - Founder of the Irgun, a pro-colonial terrorist group. - Mentored & inspired countless Israeli leaders. Zionism is a colonizing adventure and therefore it stands or falls by the question of armed force." - [13] The Iron Law, Vladimir Jabotinsky.

You should do a video about each massacre Jews suffered in the region starting from Hebron massacre in the 1500’s. And go down history until 1948 with the historical context. Maybe a series of videos. I figured you’re probably the best person to do this. I know at some point in the 20th century Jews started fighting back. People need to understand the context before 1948, as most pro-Palestinians think history started in 1948 and that somehow Jews and Arabs lived holding hands and singing cumbaya before 1948 lol. That never happened like at all. It was one massacre after the other until Jews started fighting back in my opinion. I know this goes back before the 1500’s but I think that’s enough for people to know. Having said that, I think that you have done a great job of educating people. Unfortunately I think that you shouldn’t have to. I think that Israelis and Zionists have failed to inform 3rd parties about the Israeli side, like a lot! And this has allowed the Arabs to control the narrative so easily. Not that its their fault entirely but I think that they have done a poor job of educating. You actually have done it for the most part but unfortunately there’s a lot of work to be done. I think that the UN is criminal and complicit in Arab crimes against humanity. I can’t express the level of disgust I feel for that organization. The level of hypocrisy and dishonesty of the Left also amazes me. Like Russia/Ukraine war has killed close to 1 million people. But I don’t see any left-wing groups in the West protesting. Imagine if the tide changed in Ukraine and Ukraine went on the offensive and Russia was losing the war. I can almost guarantee they would start protesting as well. It’s so ridiculous and shameful. Like the horrors of that war can take you back to WWI or WWII. But they’d rather protest against Israel, probably because it’s easier. Another request for the future, if you ever have the time and feel inspired to do it, I would like you to make some videos on the Zionist movement as a whole parallel to Israel. Like the Soviets attempt at creating a Soviet state for the Jews, etc. Oh and one more thing and I apologize lol, you know the anti-Zionist Orthodox Jews that live in Iran or Russia etc. If you could expand on the differences, etc. Last thing would be the Hebrew language vs Yiddish, and the reason Israel chose to go with Hebrew. Very interesting and important topics. And tell us if you speak Hebrew or Yiddish or both etc and the evolution of the integration of the Hebrew language. That’s all for now lol. Best regards!

To answer your question, there were no settlements according to my research, however as I’ve delved deeper into realized something, the Jewish population in a lot of regions controlled by many empires and civilizations always kind of had the same thing going, expelling Jews. And I’ve realized it’s because they were practicing “Usury” which was illegal in many Christian nations and because they were Jewish they believed it was ok for them even though their religion as done by my research prohibits “ribit” (but they of course have to find a way around their religion because even they don’t follow it truly, using the “heter iska”) which is some of the reasons why they were hated on so much because they were gaining financial opportunities illegally. Now guess who took them in after many Christian nations kicked them out so many times and displacing them? The Ottomans who tolerated their practices under some limitations even though usury was frowned upon, and in return they were also charged a tax because they were allowed to freely practice their religion on an Islamic land to build their synagogues, and etc. Now continuing on your next topic about what happens when you lose a war, I want everyone who has made this far to imagine you own a beautiful big home, and you allow some person to stay in your home out of kindness and gesture for free and now they are trying to transfer ownership of your home by going to the government and saying to them that they lived here for X amount of years which gives them property rights. And you battle that and eventually lost and come to an agreement that you get half the land and they get half and soon when you decide to protest against it, they say no and you’re getting harassed by that said new squatter. Now put this example in a bigger scale, in a big country scale, it’s the same thing happening in the land of Palestine, it was part of the Ottoman Empire and before this thing called the State of Israel, The JEWISH people and the MUSLIM people lived in perfect peace away from Hitler because the Palestinians allowed them to come here for refuge and they decide to stab the Palestinians in their backs after the British separated them and give a lot of their land to the Jewish unfairly which started this whole war. Now, This pro Palestine movement is asking for the land back, not the elimination of the Jewish people and their religions because history will tell you MUSLIMS were the only people to accept them and tolerate them because we saw them as the Book of People unlike the Christian nations who just tossed them around like a soccer ball and now they’re going back to their old oppressors who are only supporting them for their OWN benefit not for the reason for Jewish people have their own state but because it would benefit them economically because I promise you if it would benefit them to support the Islamic state of Palestine they wouldn’t even think twice and start helping the Palestinians bomb Israel. Now with that being said, please do not for the love of god say I’m wrong because the little example I used may not be accurate because it is accurate here in NY with squatters, I believe you understand what I’m trying to say, and please come back with a good argument and not just waste my time saying you’re wrong and etc. Provide me historical facts. Edit: I’ve seen some people arguing that the land of Palestine belonged to the Jewish people for thousands of years. Now let me remind everyone that there was no Jewish settlement before the State of Israel, the Jewish population was SCATTERED not in a fixed region to form a nation that land belonged to the Muslims and the Muslims out of kindness and sympathy which our god teaches us and our knowledge of calling the Jews the People of the Book allowed them to stay in the land of Ottoman Empire near Jerusalem for centuries and now they’re calling it their holy land? This is like me calling your house my home after staying there out of your own kindness and gesture, what kind of a logic is that? Even you would be pissed no? I will update this post with more information I learn.

Even napoleon conquered Gaza! Palestinians never ever ever had soveirgnity in history over the Gaza Strip until Israel gave it to them in 2005. But once you have defeated a hostile population that broke out in civil insurrection, whose only plaint was an uncompromising total rebellion fof "israel should not exist" - you can't let that population go back to israel only to try and destroy it for a second time. So yes, it still is the arabs who started the fight. What right to the land of Palestine do the Jews have? If anyone has the right to the land its the Christians. And let us not forget the atrocities that the Jews commit onto the Palestinians.

That is right, Jews bought lands from the arabs there was so many purchases that the British mandate disallowed it at some point

The British began to limit it only after a century of promoting and funding it, and during the mandate period, violently suppressing opposition to it from the native population

@@armandvillaverde9812 Your ignorance is profound, the occupiers were Ottoman Arabs - this is a historical fact in fact, Zahir Muhse’in, a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee, said the following in a 1977 interview with the Amsterdam-based newspaper Trouw. “The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians, and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism.” Learn something about history, rather spouting ill informed and monumentally stupid comments.

People who read the Bible beginning from Genesis they know the land of Canaan which is Israel 🇮🇱 belongs by an Eternal Covenant between God and Abraham to the Jewish people for ever. Period. There are hundreds of prophecies about God restoring Israel and bringing them back from the four corners of the earth to their own land. If the ignorant university students don't like it let them complain to God. The land of Israel is their home for ever and ever and ever. Amen

OK! Where do I file the complaint to God? Come on, every person has its own beliefs, but what you believe doesn't rule on people and citing the Bible is not an admissible source, since it's just another book written by humans saying things for which there is no evidence. Written by God's inspiration? That can't and won't be determined. No one ever proved it, not even the mere existence of God. God's Chosen People? God's given right to the land of Caanan? Tons of BS!

@@hbentancor11 archeology is proving that a lot of the stories in the bible are true, plus it just says that if people talked already about this for thousands of years it means its a thing! Jews were there before the Christians and the Muslims, beat that please!
