I like that it has that splash of colour. One of the reasons I'm attracted to Orange amps is because they're colourful and so different from the obelisks that normally are sold.

Also --- as a Hanneman and Holt nut... I did not grasp their sound until I used a floating trem guitar. I know you probably know this... But I was always lacking the sorta boxy low end... Then I got a Floyd Rose axe and BLAMMO!!! I was in that dark pocket I can see and hear you know well. You sound, and play, really f'kin awesome!! Bless ya man

It has that classic Raw Black / Death Metal sound, think Nunslaughter or early Gravewurm. Many demos and low-budget albums were recorded with guitar tones like this.

I’m with you on this for sure. Giving your kids a mg series amp is like saying i don’t support what you do and i hope you fail. Giving your kid a jcm 800 studio version or big boy amp is like saying i think you got this guitar thing and I’m here supporting you and i feel like you can make a go at it. Lol so skip the bullshit and get that kid a good amp!

Some "attack of the bees" parts, but not bad for an amp with a 6" speaker. Also, the "FUZZ" part was quite good, I'd use that tone to record a song someday. And I agree about MG series overall, not that good... best budget-friendly Marshall series is the Valvestate, I think. If i'm not tripping, even Meshuggah used one in a few moments.

I had the kk jcm800, couldn’t stand the thing. Just way to honky mids for me. It works ok with emgs, but i like other pickups. And it didn’t have a friggin effects loop. Its a one trick pony pretty much. My jvm is still kickin around tho.
