It doesn't matter if the robot decides whats human and what's not, or how to move into position, as long as the robot does NOT decide when to actually shoot, most dangerous threats are mitigated. However, a robot must not also be smart enough to decide that it should follow it's own order and shoot

The bible says God doesn't want any to perish, but to come to repentance. It doesn't say in our bible He'll destroy men for mistakes, but basically willful knowledgable working of evil/ turning to the devil. And the people that do these things like to torment people all day anyways so how could they not see there end coming(if they don't turn). As for the bible, theres so much prophecy, science, love, and history, that it proves it's divine originality.

Wait so when was this segment produced? At the end you show clips dated from 2015 over narration saying "After our visit" . So this thing is 5 years old?

Have you considered that maybe they WANT to create enemies? If you sell umbrella's then you need it to rain. Not like they have a history of using false flags to initiate wars. :|

This is a few years old, but it would be nice to see a comparison of where they are at now.

DARPA is a lot farther than you will ever see in a KZbin video.

As a current Virginia Tech student, I am disappointed at the way that VICE essentially manipulated and defamed the school and Army research programs in this piece. The work being done here and at the DoD is saving lives by assisting the warfighter, and reducing the innocents killed in strikes. VICE instead is praising a hippie activist who doesn't actually understand these things, and creating more disillusionment on the purpose, ethics, and applications of autonomous systems.

Did you even watch the video? No matter what good work these robots are doing, they're also being used to kill people, including thousands of innocent people, many of whom are children. If you think pointing that out is 'defamatory', you're the one with the problem.

Of course they say it’s never going to hurt or kill people. Also anyone notice how the military computer had a sticker that said iRobot !?

Robots are not gonna be reliable in war. Not until we find an energy source capable of keeping them powered efficiently and cheaply
@steves5784 жыл бұрын
They will also more than likely never be used in active combat roles other than support, such as EOD and or pack horse roles
@steves5784 жыл бұрын
Also not to mention making them cheaper to produce

@@steves578 That's a bold statements your saying robots are not gonna be reliable in war until we have an energy source, but that's just a matter of time till they perfect an energy source its defiantly not impossible and you say that its likely they will "Never" be used in active combat.Do you know something we don't I'm just curious as to why there is lots of military personal in the real world talking about robots being used for active combat and that being there who trajectory we already have robotic pack horses and exc.

I love that they use video game controllers to control the robots. It makes sense, they're pretty much exactly what you would want to reprogram into something that could control that PLUS you're talking about these kids in the army now who probably grew up with something similar in their hands from the time they were kids. They are probably flying drones worth millions of dollars using PlayStation or Xbox controllers.

@Fair Criticism I sure hope so, it's laughable to think so much power is controlled with so little but honestly it only takes a trigger being pulled to kill someone with a gun, remarkably simple for how devastating it can potentially be.
