After the introspection of “Wonderful Wonderful,” The Killers are roaring back with the driving synths and propulsive beats of “Caution.” Featuring a face-melting guitar solo by Fleetwood Mac’s legendary guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, and the welcome return of Mark Stoermer to the limelight (paging Dave Keuning, but hey, 3 outta 4 ain’t bad). The video seems disjointed but themes emerge. It’s from a longer short film by visionary music video director Sing Lee (Halsey, Muse, Migos). In a year filled with difficult times, one of the great modern rock bands is back to remind us that theirs is the Bright Side, and that it’s some kinda sin to live a life of “what might have been.” Love The Killers!

This Song and Video gets me every time. I love it, it makes me cry. Brandon Flowers is a certified lyrical genious. What I love so much about it is that I can separate the song from the video. The song itself reminds me of my Mother and my Grandmother who is no longer with us. They lived in the desert, it's what pretty girls do. My grandma was a dancer, and my Grandfather died on the 4th of July, as did his brother, just a few years apart.

This album is like the killers perfecting their sound as they age. It has the pop synth of Hot Fuss and Day & Age, the heartland rock of Battle Born, the epic melodies of Sam's Town and the raw emotion of Wonderful Wonderful - all mixed with a bit of 80's new wave from Brandon Flower's solo efforts. It's just fantastic.

So i.. took a trip to Northern California (Leggett town) with a black convertible Camaro topped down.. wanna visit one of the Drive thru trees in there.. it's in the afternoon around 5pm on summer day.. me sitting on a bench in that area surrounded by giants and redwoods.. and all of sudden i heard the next song played on a speaker which was hanging on the wall of their gift shops and yes it's THE KILLERS CAUTION.. I didn't know the band so i used google song search and found it... immediately fell in love with the band.. and then i drove to my Resort towards highway 1 and played this over and over couldn't get enough.. WHAT A WONDERFUL BAND!
