Jooheon really outdos himself with these title tracks he’s been making! In the making video for this song, Jooheon wanted all the members to try new and different things, minhyuk rapping, more changkyun singing. It really is such a perfect song! Jooheon was so hot for bringing that 90s sound I'm still obsessed over it. I think Jooheon actually said many times that he was working so hard on this song, just like the previous title tracks, I think he really puts his soul into making them, also the team he works with is the same since debut and they're really amazing too, and they did a lot of monsta x songs from their albums too.

I got so emotional watching this reaction, idk why, maybe it’s because I am an artist myself ( not music ) and whenever I see art that I consider to be incredible it moves me regardless of it being sentimental in nature or not. Just beauty in general. Joohoney and his team ( we HAVE to as a fandom to give credit to the other producers as well ) are actual musical masters. The way they managed to make a song go outside of the generic 2 verses 3 choruses and a bridge formula yet still respect it... is insane to me. This song is so dynamic, it reminds me of why I love kpop and why I love how korean artists take western ideas, sounds and genres and interpret them in their own way, if that makes sense. It’s perfection. I am so proud to be a monbebe these days... they are indeed geniune artists and their love for their craft is so apparent in their last few releases. In terms of music and sound, they are the stand out boy group of the third generation. While other groups have succeded in other areas such as business and so on, when it comes to just the music, Monsta X is the gem of the industry and you can see their influence in the 4th generation as well. Monbebes, aren’t we so blessed? My heart can’t take it. 🥺🖤

Truer words were never said, I have loved them from the start, that love has never faded even though all the trama we went though with losing our Wonho. He should be there with them now. He was innocent, I still cant understand why he wasnt brought back into the group instantly. I would still want him to do his Solo work just like Honey , I.m and the others have done. That would make all of this even more special to have them all together again. I Stand both Monsta X and Wonho they will always be all 7 to me and from comments I see in different comebacks I know I am not alone in my thoughts. A proud Monbebe and Weene forever

@@moonkyssedr9848 I had the same mentality as you for a long time until I sat back and looked at the bigger picture. As much as I ADORE Wonho and however much I miss him being in the group, I doubt we would be where we are today. His departure ingnited a fire under their feet that made them progress and be where they are today. They and Starship worked really hard for the past 2 years to improve and stand out and not fade away as many groups do when a member leaves. I can’t be sad anymore when I see Hyungwon and Minhyuk get more lines now that the group is smaller, or that more have the opportunity to produce and submit songs. And not when I see Wonho TRIVE, literally SLAY with his solo career, make the music HE loves entirely and be backed up like this by Starship. The only thing I miss is their interactions because they truly have one of the best and most geniune chemistries in kpop, but when it comes to their music and them as a group and also Wonho’s career... him leaving might of been the best thing that happened to them. I choose to see the bright side now and not be stuck in the past, I truly believe that after all was said and done, it was a blessing in disguise. They are all doing INCREDIBLE, so I can’t be sad anymore. And I know that they are still friends so that’s all that matters to me. All that I want is for the unspoken shame and stigma that lingers around Wonho to disappear and for them to be able to talk about each other.

Absolutely looove this song and mv! It caught me off guard the first time I listened to it, but I can’t stop listening to it now. I love that you mentioned how much love Jooheon puts into producing songs. I recently watched their [몬채널] Ep.294 ‘Love’ Recording video (highly recommend you watch in your own time) and the genuine excitement that exudes from him during the recording process is beautiful to watch. None of the glitter scenes are cg. It took Kihyun 4 days to completely wash it off 😅 Rnb was done right. MX fits in that pocket really well. But I mean what genre can't they do? Again, keep giving Jooheon the title tracks. The album is amazing!!! 5/6 are produced by the members. It just shows how passionate they are! I don't know how MX does it smoothly... they try different genre and structures every time and ends up nailing it, but alsooo staying true to that "MX color". Oh and welcome back PD!!!

I think that Monsta X is getting better and better with each comeback. It's incredible how each member gets their time to shine and is able to do different things musically. I totally agree that after Jooheon started working on their title tracks something clicked. I always liked Monsta X, I liked their music and style and the every member individually and together from a very beginning but I always felt that something is missing. I liked their new title tracks and hence was always checking out bsides eventually as well but I never screamed like "omg this is fantasting, I love it, 10?10". Now with his touch I really feel like this is what have been missing for me the whole time. It really clicked for me and I'm starting my proper journey of sinkin in ^^ I'm not an expert in any way but I think the main think is the structure and comination of elements in the songs now and then. Before they seemed to be going the more "generic" kpop route but now they combine a lot of different and surprising elements mixing with each other, so it sounds more interesting both during the first listen and later on after 100 listens.

I had a similar reaction upon first listen - it definitely had me grooving, but some of the transitions threw me off a bit. But every single listen afterwards has me falling for it more and more. And even after countless replays, I continue to pick up new sounds that I hadn't noticed previously. It's a production masterpiece, as is the entire album, actually.

I loved LOVE from the beginning, but it just keeps getting better and better! It's interesting and groovy and has so many fun genre/era throwback elements formed in a new way. I can see how the structure might throw some people off initially because it's so different, but once you get used to it you can really feel the rhythm and flow

It sounds retro old school but so refreshing because they mix well old hip hop sound and rap with old r&b/soul vocal harmony and 1930's jazzy Gabsy retro & elegant style! Their rap's style sounds different in this song too, the part when you are confusing is the best part and it sounds more like the rapper talks to the audience to begin the show, there is so many different rap style that i love! So many mix of different retro style 90's hip hop & r&b mix with 1930's jazz bar sound and elegant like Gasby, it mix well different retro style, different rap and structure and i love it! It sounds so new and yes it's one of the best song of 2022

Well, LOVE is a very confusing song, the first time I listened to it I was like "OMFG what's this?! It doesn't sound like kpop at all!!!!! Is amazing!!!" that's why I think that you can't get bored of it. I mean, LOVE gets better every single time you listen to it. Idk a lot about MVs but this one looks so elegant with all the glitter and the black background that just... I'm in love with it. The glitter isnt going up... they have multiple lights shifting that hit the glitter all over the place to cause that effect. It's all practical... with maybe a bit of lighting adjustment to blow out the highlights in post production.

I coincidentally saw the recording of this. He said his goal with this song was to push members out of their comfort zone & wanted them to challenge themselves with something they don’t usually do. Even from that very first phrase he was so precise about their parts “The handsome man should do this” lol 😆 He was so awkward/nervous…said he spent the entire night just practicing that one phrase.
