The creativity of Wonho is known only by his fans in fact! How can you attract a Western audience if there are no ads? How should people know about the release and the artist? His useless US manager talked about "Aint about you" for the entire Lose promotions, always does vague tweets and he call that promotion... And when finally was time to release the mv for Aint about you they posted the teaser first with NO sound through a radio acc and no date release... Wonho's kr company and us pr team are doing a terrible job at promoting him and it looks like they don't care at all. Its really so frustating and sad. They can't do the bare minimum

I respect your perspective of Wonho's video. Too often the focus is on his looks and not the music. I'm surprised no one has commented on Wonho singing in English. His hard work is definitely paying off. Wonho always puts his best effort into everything he does. Great video!

Focusing on looks is part of the job of being an idol and humans are naturally attracted to what's attractive. I don't understand why you're surprised with the him singing in English comments part, though. The time when everyone was surprised that he can sing in English already happened during before he even left Monsta X. Monsta X were the group who started with the albums/songs fully in English in the kpop industry long ago, so being surprised by that talent today when it comes to Wonho is old news. Would you like for people to be surprised every single time it happens? lol

I really appreciated how they purposely contrasted each of their parts - her mostly outside & brightly lit, him mostly inside & dimly lit - so that it doesn't seem obvious & awkward that they filmed totally separately on different continents. It also helps that it's a breakup song, so it's not weird that they aren't together. The song's definitely an ear worm, in a good way, & well produced all the way around. 👍

Wonho is signed to highline a sub label of starship so he has access to the same staff and companies as other starship artists, Wonho is also signed to Maverick and bmg, mv was done by pinklabel by staff both in korea and the US and he has worked with pinklabel for losing you and for his a video for his first online concert iwonhoyou, Wonho filmed in Korea, Kiiara filmed in the US, both have the same US manager, Kiiara is a US artist, she is known for her song gold, she was a feature on Linkin parks song heavy

Wonho, Monsta x in general are really good at making good American pop songs. They just understand the trends and sounds in American pop music, and the English lyrics always make sense

watching you point out the little details really makes me appreciate the production even more, the effort they put into the cinematography is INSANE for a b-side. all the parallels-always keeping Kiara on the left side and Wonho on the right, Day/Night driving scene(could mean different time-zones lol), and the bar scene at the end that I never really notice the empty seat and glass. having a galaxy brain moment✨

kiiara is huge actually like she did the collab with LINKIN PARK on their last album before Chester's death. The lack of promo therefore makes my blood boil, they have the same management, aka ESHY (wonho and monsta x for the US market) and i expected so much more from the US PR. They want this to be a radio hit which i can 100% see for the US market, but they just don't do enough to give it that kick to perform well. It's so frustrating (i'm working in the music industry and this makes my blood boil)

Eshy Gazit was the US manager for BTS but they dropped him back in the days... for a reason obviously which the entire fandom has been recognised by now, but Starship obviously has no clue at all about the Western market and therefore still trusts in Eshy's approach eventhough most of the time it's obly half baked him making use of the contacts he has but never setting up a full campaign that could actually bring it somewhere!

Wonho is signed with Starship's sub-label Highline. So he works with many of the same staff as he did with Monsta X. The same stylists, choreography teams, makeup artists video teams etc. I think he wanted to make sure he worked with most of the same people bc he knows them and they know him really well. ♡ He did so great, I'm so proud of him.

This video is awesome. The cinematography, the lighting, the effects that they put especially in Wonho’s car scenes were really cool. I didn’t notice that some scenes were mirrored until you pointed it out and it made me appreciate those scenes even more. They ARE treating it like a title song! When the album came out and even during the Korean promotions with Lose, the US pr team were promoting this song instead. After the mv, came out it’s gotten all these articles as if it was a US release. If they plan to promote him like that with future albums, I hope they realize not to take away the attention from the Korean promotions and to make it clear that it’s not a b-side!

I really love your reaction videos because your reviews are so in depth! I also think this was a great collab and thought Wonho and Kiiara's voices complimented each other so well. One of the things I also loved about this MV is how they filmed Wonho at night and Kiiara in the day since they would be halfway around the world from each other in different times zones. It kind of depicted a struggling long distance relationship and worked well for this break up song, lol! I just wish the MV had been more widely promoted because it deserves some serious hype!

Loved the song, the collab, the MV and not just because I'm a wenee :P Maybe it was stressful to film this during this pandemic but it turned out so good, and I'd be repeating the same you said, their voices complemented each other so well! Also, I'm not quick to notice things in MVs and it's been really fun watching it and noticing new things all the time. This is not something really mind blowing, but I really liked how the mv kinda portrayed a long distance relationship too. The way that since they're filming the mv in different countries due to covid and such, a lot of it resembles a LDR; him driving at night while she's driving in the day, them being on call at different times (day & night), them communicating mostly through call like a LDR, them sending each other letters/gifts, she's at work (the set) while he's "getting ready for bed" (drinking and in a bed room in a hotel/"his room"), etc. Works well with the lyrics and feel of the song as well

pinklablevisuals worked both on Wonho's music vids (Losing You and Ain't About You). Wonho's set location was the same as Play It Cool (MX) fun fact the MV director is a lady =)
