The Lambent Berserker is a creature neither the Humans or the Locust are prepared to fight. But it doesnt matter because its here to mess up everyone! In this episode we will go over the lore and biology as well as discuss how the Imulsion parasite has taken a normal berserker and twisted it into this lambent form.

Those Hammer of Dawn strikes were low yield not anything close to the city destroying high yield strikes. While that's still impressive, the lambert berserker would not be able to survive let alone brush off and keep fighting after any kind of high yield direct impact. I mean if several extremely low yield hammer strikes can kill a towering lambent brumak, then prolonged low yield or a powerful high yield direct hammer strike would end a lambent berserker easily.

@@epicty3607 You would be correct, at least partially,. The satellites are all fucked up and falling apart due to various reasons. All they had left during Gears 3 are a few semi-operational satellites that can only be fired whenever they're lucky enough to have one above their local area. They no longer have any city buster satellite arrays that are operational.

Snatchers from gears of war 4 are pretty op. They’re not as durable as lambert berserkers, but they run faster and jump a lot higher and can with stand lots of gun fire. Their arms, legs and tail can easily one shot you and they can puke a powerful acid. Can you do a video on snatchers? I find them really interesting.

Interesting as always. And as far as your assumption of the Locust getting infected from imulsion vapor alone, that is a very safe and probably correct guess. If you remember the lake portion of Gears 2, the Locust gunboats veered away from the vapor clouds when Marcus and Dom's boat went through it, more than likely because they knew what would happen to them if they went through.

The Lambent takes time to turn you and it works more like a Retro Parasite instead off taking over the working off the body like The Flood do The Lambent I think basically increase the power off the creature and mutate them to a better fighting killing machine and steer them towards the goals off The Lambent. So The Flood possess the infected. But The Lambent improve and steer the infected but don't take over completely that's my take.

Basically think of it as, the floods tactics are get as much biomass as possible and once they obtain so much and have made a keymind or higher essentially everyone is doomed while the Lambent focus more on killing and that's it no real thinking behind them except basic stuff atleast from what I know of the lambent

1 thing can probably beat how the lambent berserker tanks the hammer of dawn Every single character in Touhou Side note apparently the shells from barnacles are made of calcite, they are a also apparently a parasitic creature ^^ And tube worms are made from Chitin, altho that’s just the outer layer of the shell apparently, and they are around thermal vents that are around 400*C or (750*F) in temperature

I assume your correct with the theory of earth elements being used to bolster the chitin, it happens with life now. Best example i can think of is there used to be a south african species of ant with a large head. This head had a massive horn right in the middle with large mandibles shaped like modern day myrmecia. The ant would ingest fungus that drew zinc out of the surrounding loam. The ant couldnt digest the zinc, so it replaces the original requirement for its chitin with zinc, specifically in the giant horn. . . Now zinc might not seem like a strong metal, but in the insect world it would be like having a lance made of titanium/tungsten alloy, so this little ant would grab bugs and ram this horn into it, which would pierce quite literally any joint of any arthropod they would come across. . . Lambent would do a similar thing, on a cellular level it could store metals it couldnt process, and then excrete them (or bioforge it) onto the bersekers hide. . .

I really think that if the hammer of dawn could just kill it. I do think it would be more. If the hammer of dawn was strong enough to down you and your teammates a nearby radius. That door should’ve been Fucked up, and perhaps come slightly unhinged. With the beast either dead and falls on the Door making it fall. Or is severely hurt and manages to tear the door down. But falls over dead right after. Or a small quick fight insues.

I always assumed lambent were basically invertebrates, that the emulsion literally consumed all their internal biomass, melding with it and redistributing it as it saw fit. Perhaps displacing the bones to create an exoskeleton and using the void as a trachea system. This large glaring weak point on the berserker would logically be a book lung in that case, which would both justify why such a weak point is exposed in the first place, but also explain why she bleeds from it as well as the cloud of emulsion vapor. If that were indeed a respiratory system and the emulsion had in fact effectively replaced blood, bone, and tissue, then the exchange of oxygen to the emulsion for aerobic respiration is entirely plausible.
