I don't think you guys understand how epic this scene is. She's a party promoter who comes into the scene from a falling platform, singing and performing a song specifically for the club location. Stops singing and dancing to voice an impromptu-sounding promotion for a date with her. Drops a digital kiss on the big screen to the crowd, then picks back up the song and goes right back into the performance like nothing happened. As a person in media, this ain't easy to do... Even if you have the best talents in front and behind the camera. What a scene 🔥

Denise Katherine Matthews (January 4, 1959 - February 15, 2016), known professionally as Vanity, was a Canadian singer, model, and actress. Matthews revealed to Jet magazine in 1993 that her father physically and verbally abused her for years. The abuse caused her to have a negative self-image. Her father died when she was 15 years old. (Denise Matthews) Vanity became the lead singer of the female trio Vanity 6, which was created by the musician Prince. After years of drug abuse, which caused health issues, Matthews became a Born Again Christian in 1992. She later devoted herself to church and became an evangelist. She said to Jet Magazine regarding her father, “For 15 years, he beat me badly... I wish I could see my father in Heaven, but I won't. He's in Hell.” Matthews died on February 15th, 2016, at age 57, due to kidney failure (likely due to her heavy drug use in her distant past).
