Love this program today! Not only did I learn something but it was so much fun!! You and Anna are great together. The bunting is just wonderful and fit for any queen especially THE QUEEN!! Thank you both and all your family for making these lovely videos for us!! Best line Kate says to Anna, “It’s not my first time.” Perfect!! I laughed out loud!! I was born in 1942, makes me 82, I love your attitude about everything you do!! I love to sew and knit, it’s a big part of who I am! Right now in the US things are uncertain and watching your videos especially the Advent series are very uplifting!! Thanks again for all you do!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🥰🥰🥰❤️💜🧡💛💚🤎💙MERRY CHRISTMAS‼️

Hello Kate, I was watching a video today from February in 2020 and you were wondering why you had a spike in your numbers and how people were possibly finding you so I thought I would share your story. Quoting has never been on my radar. However I stayed and minded somebody’s cats in Newcastle recently, that’s Newcastle in Australia, and she had the most magnificent quilt on the bed. This was a house sitting job so I didn’t actually know the people at all but I reached out to them to find out about the quilt. I counted the squares which were about 10,000 1inch squares that I could see were handsewn. Long story short the woman’s mother had made it and a few weeks later I got a note from the door to to say by the way they had been put together by English paper piecing. That’s how I found you. I am loving your videos and learning so much.

Kate what did you use to string the bunting together ? Thank you
@victoriamyatt17095 күн бұрын
@@donnarossignol5695 you can use a cotton canvas tape or twill tape (don't think that how its spelt sorry) for inside or a gross grain ribbon for outside.

The caraway seed reference made me laugh. A favourite quip by my late mother you might enjoy: I had just moved to mom’s city and making dinner and working my way around her kitchen. Me: “ hey mom, this basil looks a little tired. How old is it?” Mom: “old enough to vote!”

My sister in law loves caraway seeds and hers might have lasted a month if she was careful not to overdue. Congratulations! A well deserved honor and recognition of your talent. I spent several years sewing for a custom flag company. There is a bit of a learning curve for drafting and sewing bunting and pointed flags but I loved the way they looked. I learned to sew across the point about 1/2" before the tip and trim the seam allowance at an angle to get nice sharp points. As always I love watching you and Anna collaborate on projects. Your eyes sparkle when you are inspired and having fun.
