If the intention is to ramp up encounter difficulty along the way, I doubt endless would scale very well. It already gets pretty crazy insane at the end of the run with waves of 6/7 enemies on assaults that start in combat.

Joel is S tier for one simple reason - he gets shivs. Clickers are the only thing in the game that can just one shot you unless you have a shiv. And getting them with any other character is extremely RNG as you rely on the outpost. Don't even consider doing a run where the boss is the theatre infestation with any other character

Not being able to dodge is too much of a disadvantage. Clickers' walk speed is actually kinda slow compared to other infected of the same size. Their flails can be dodged, you can stun them with throwables, and they die instantly from environmental melee weapons, at least on moderate. They're also vulnerable when you feed them something, which you can do with both people and infected, they're not good against shotguns blasts - _and_ a Shiv costs resources that can be used to make melee upgrades _and bombs_ both of which have potential to kill clickers in one shot where shivs are not a guaranteed one hit kill mechanism, like they are in the first game. Don't get me wrong they're an invaluable resource, but perhaps more trouble than they're worth.

It's a great video, thanks! 🤛I already love No Return. Just start a few days ago to play NR, but Jesse is a "S" grade character too imo. +30% coins and the unlimired re-roll is very helpful after a completed level. In combat, the silencer and the pipe bomb are to be too op sometimes (on grounded). He is a great mixed character by Joel and Abby. He got only pros almost.

Might wanna cover the weapons available and how good they are in the run. For instance I got the explosive arrows for the bow and they easily got me to the boss. Only to betray me when a zombie dropped right in front of me when I fired.

Accessibility and post-game cheat codes both feature slow-motion options, and No Return is a singleplayer campaign. So I'm pretty sure you can use whatever you want. I would be surprised if they allowed cheats during daily runs though.

After a while, I learned how the Tommy and Joel "perk" Sturdier to Melee is just misinformation. They are NOT at all any more durable to melee damage and they still get staggered as much. The devs should've just said: Cannot dodge because of age. Simple as that.

Ive tried playing on Grounded alot, and can get through some of levels, but I'm pretty much ready to give up. I get too angry and frustrated. I think i prefer just playing on Hard, i just don't find Grounded rewarding.

If I made this, it would’ve had a 2-person per tier rule to force variety: S Tier - Ellie, Abby A Tier - Manny, Lev B Tier - Jesse, Dina C Tier - Yara, Mel D Tier - Tommy, Joel * Yara I could see in B, but in higher difficulties, I constantly am babysitting Lev NPC from dying

Joel not dodging isn’t a problem simply because you shouldn’t play as him the same way you would Ellie or the others, you should have shivs crafted all the time and at least a melee weapon all the time, he can also get kills using the bricks like in part 1 so that’s saving ammo and crafting. Also can’t let yourself get into a situation where your backed into a walled corner
