I love how these three airbenders embodied some part of Aang. Jinora is the spiritual master side of Aang Meelo is the mischevious, playful side of Aang Ikki embody the empathetic, diplomatic side of Aang. Also, when Ikki took her arms out to point at the map, it's a small call back to a scene from A:TLA, in the episode Avatar Day, when Aang did something similar

I always felt Toph was the best teacher Korra ever had (besides Katara). She was tough but understanding. She helped Korra through her trauma. I loved this episode so much.

Yes, you are technically correct, Maple. By bending out the poison herself Korra can become a better metalbender, but, I think Toph's lesson here was for Korra to learn to overcome her trauma and move past it. The poison actually does have psychological effects on her. So that's why she keeps having visions as it moves through her.

It’s so crazy in seasons 1-3 each of Korras enemies tell her she is not need nor wanted so they could make the world a better place. And now here she is needed more than ever

korras really been through alot. like aang had his entire culture wiped out, lost appa and then died temporarily. but those things for some reason dont have lingering effects on him like korras ptsd. the closest thing was the 6-7 episodes when they didnt have appa

Toph doesn’t get the respect she deserves. The fact that she left home as a child to venture the world and train avatar, create another type of bending, helped stop the fire nation, create a police force, and helps the next avatar in one lifetime all while being blind is crazy to me lol
