I'll never forget ...I was 4-5 when this game was released, and my dad rented it out for me to play. I had spent hours listening to the title track over and over again, and he came into my room to ask how it was. I sat there in front of the screen, and said ..this is the best game I have ever played. I still say the same thing over and over, i'm 24 now man. My dad was the one who brought me into the Zelda universe, I'll never forget that. love you dad, miss you.

This game is like an old home in my heart. Even though I can't enter that home because it's blocked by a virtual screen, it just feels like I've been there with Link and Navi, all those years ago. In the pastures of the ranch, through the winds of the fields, past Death Mountain, playing around in Kokiri Forest, getting lost in the Lost Woods, exploring different dungeons, and lying around while watching that pixelated but beautiful blue sky. It all feels real in my memory. And the music solidifies these feelings.

When most people think Ocarina of Time, they probably think of something trivial like Gerudo Valley, but this encapsulates the experience for me.

I remember to keep the "Press start" flashing just to hear this song. Of all the Zelda I've been able to play, even Twilight and Majora's, Ocarina is the only one that gives me a strange but pleasant, warm and comforting feeling. No matter what era you play Ocarina in, it will always take you where your best memories are

I first played the game in 2017 and it was my first Zelda game. I remember having tears at the end of the game and chilling in the lon lon ranch listening to the music. The atmosphere in this game was phenomenal

Very seldom can we feel the patience and peace in the soul of another. The way you play is almost therapeutic. So much respect for the timing, not anxious to press the next key immediately. 10/10

you have an amazing sense for music man. You're timing and emphasis on notes is so spot on. the pieces of silence throughout this song are what make it so powerful and you capture them so effectively.

This conveys my experience of this performance to a T. I'm a musician myself and every moment of this felt so right to me, I wouldn't change a thing, and that's not something I experience much with covers. The spacing between the notes is flawless.

This song means so much to me. I remember seeing the title screen feeling so filled with wonder towards what I might discover in this 3D game, and the song felt like it was promising such a deep, diverse adventure filled with emotion. Then the game delivered on all that.

I was first introduced to LoZ by my ex. She loved that series, but I didn't have any means of getting that game. I didn't watch any game play videos on it because I wanted to play them for myself. The title theme to OoT, to sleep to, was the closest thing I ever got to anything Zelda related. Back then, your silence between your notes reminded me of the emptiness I had when I broke up with her and the long sadness that came with it. Now, whenever I listen to this, I think of the moment when I'll play this game for the first time and replace that broken feeling with something adventurous and great.

At the time of this comment 18 people responded negatively to this video. Shame we have no way to get the true beauty of Koji Kondo to them in anything other than song because it’s much deeper than that. Play the game, experience the amazing plot, substance, and gameplay, then come back and comment. Deaf or not, this music set the tone for the game. Absolute masterpiece. In my humble opinion of course.

You guys have no idea how big this game was to me as a young kid. Hyrule seemed so vast. I was maybe 6-7. How I felt so good to just make it out of the deku tree for the first time. Oh how I thought I was a pro because I knew how to get the deku shield and kokiri sword. I felt like a real adventurer. I always wanted to be big link. As a kid this game was impossible for me to beat. I always stopped playing after i got to the water temple. As I got older my love never changed for the game. I am a Zelda master now. So grateful I was shown this game as a kid. This game made me a very loving, humble and good guy. Life is now an adventure to me. ❤ Heaven is the destination.
