Wrestling Lists Presents - The Life and Career of Mr Perfect
Making the perfect video for Curt Hennig is impossible. There is no way Curt Hennig can be done justice without spending a hour or two discussing the man's incredible wrestling skills and showmanship.
This video aims to condense Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig's life and career into a short documentary video. I also recommend that you check out the Mr. Perfect documentary thats currently on the WWE Network. Let this video serve as an appetizer as we look at the life and career of one of the most well respected yet one most mischievous wrestlers in professional wrestling. Curt Hennig wasnt good, Curt Hennig wasn't great, Curt Hennig was absolutely perfect!
This video looks at Curt Hennig and his time in the AWA, his ebut in the WWF as a member of the Heenan family, his run with the Intercontinental Championship and his match at WW Summerslam 1991 with Bret Hart, his work as a commentator alongside Vince McMahon, his run in WCW and the nWo, his return to the WWF in the 2002 Royal Rumble and more.

Almost all the wrestlers that I looked up to as a kid died so young. I'm 43 now and it's so hard to believe that they all died around the age I am today. You don't realize how young that is until you reach that age yourself. The professional wrestling business WAS BRUTAL. It's taken so many of the greats far too soon.

Why not just be content with the fact that he had two solid reigns as intercontinental champ? Not even Jake the Snake, the Million Dollar Man, or Big Boss Man got shots at the intercontinental title. During the second title, Perfect held the belt for 280 days. Let's face it, while Henning was a great wrestler, he was never going to be the guy who headlined a PPV event, much less be the guy who would actually win the WWF/WWE championship belt.

What about his run in nwa Pacific in the early 80s? He had some great matches with the dynamite kid (who broke his neck) buddy Rose, and rip Oliver.

Best ever in-ring performer to grace WWF/WWE with his presence, also great promo/mic skills. The fact he was never heavyweight champion is just wrong.
