Hi Jen. I laughed out loud about your husband ordering gourmet goods. I'm the same way hahahaha my kitchen pantry looks like the United Nations Organization pantry. My husband struggles to keep up with me.

I worked out the laundry issues by having everyone look at the pile of laundry. I put everyone's stack next to the other. Then I said, "how is this my laundry?" My stack was the smallest, husband was 2nd , and kiddos had the most. After that everyone did their own laundry. The teen daughter would let her closes pile up to where she had no clean left. But eventually, she got it done. I loved training everyone to become adults.

I totally relate regarding going to the store, especially with hubby. I've finally worked out a solution, I order online and have it delivered. He loves going to the store, so when he wants something, off he goes. Works for my sanity.

What a timely reminder to give myself permission to take a break having done dinner, dishes, laundry instead of starting on the next kids birthday cake and planning the weekend - and not feeling guilty for it.

LOL! My husband and I purposefully chose Kerrville, Texas to view the eclipse thinking this would be the place that would least like have cloud cover. We paid $100.00 to get a parking spot. Heck, I should have made an offer to the Fulwiler Family to park in front of their house for the celestial event. By the way, where can I see bluebonnet flowers when I am in the Lone Star State next week?
