Just got my hands on the Redmi Airdots S & I can tell how good this review is. Been 3 days using them, & these earbuds are exactly as they are explained in the video. If you want a decent sound, good calls, great latency & crappy controls at a budget, these are the ones to go for.

Love your fair and unbiased review. You really helped me make my purchasing decision. What I love about these buds is that the don't use any silicone flaps or fins. Those never stay in place and eventually get lost. There never is a spare part too.

The only problem would be the controls and the loudness, otherwise you can absolutely get this

Just compared them right now, on EDM it’s not as punchy, but in rock it’s pretty much on par (KZ Z1 or KZ S2, of course these two has much better soundstage and separation), but definitely it’s more than QCY

I have both. I bought the Heylou after the Airdots because of the good reviews. After a few months of use, I was convinced that the Heylou's sounded a little better until I tried binaural recordings. It turns out, the Heylou are mono, i.e., cannot separate the sound from the left and the right. The Airdots were great with binaural recordings. You can really "feel" were the sounds are coming from.

Thanks! If you can avoid GT2, it doesn't have game mode nor dual-mode bluetooth as far as I remember. For your use case you probably will be better off with QCY T7 or Tronsmart Onyx Ace though for the better mics

I have both haylou gt1 pro and the new redmi airdots s. I used your link to buy the redmi airdots s and it cost 972 pesos with the voucher while the haylou gt1 pro I bought for 970 pesos during sale in lazada. I compared both of them and I can say that the airdots have a higher volume, more bass, cuter case and I got hyped up because of the low latency but the haylou gt1 pro have more vocal depth and better sound quality for me. I used the song Ride Home by Ben & Ben Both and other song to compare but I notice the difference more on RH. Both of the tws have good sound quality but I would choose the haylou's sound quality, decent bass and bigger battery over louder volume, lower latency. Might change my mind after I test the mic. Airdots' eartips are bad.

@@namedkenn Hi Kenneth! I already have my GT1 Plus. Controls are good, no latency and the sound is above average. The only thing that bothers me is that every time I use it for calling, all of the noise in my surrounding was captured and the person on the other line can't understand me well. Tho the noise were just coming from my sister wc is few feet away and doesn't speak that loud. Ive tested it with different types of noise background and the results were the same. DAMN NOISY! Hahaha i am really disappointed bec the main use of my earphones are for calling. :( Is there anything I can do to fix it?
