I'm officially 100% Jealous LT! From the mechanical mods to the wrap (In my favorite color no less) to the overall experience of walking through this build has brought me back to my younger years turning wrenches in the pits at the local drag strip to squeeze a tenth or two out of my old 1972 Orange Vega GT with a Buick power plant backed by a 2 speed. E85 is great stuff for boost. I would be careful increasing the timing by so much without a dyno to verify power increases. Maybe 4-5° higher than your gas map until you can get it on the rollers. Make sure you’re gaining about 8-10hp per degree added, and once you’re below that hp increase per degree, call it good for a street driven vehicle. You can easily add more timing than you should with E85 because it will almost never knock. You can add so much timing that it can start to damage things. Love the content! Keep it coming!

Truck looks awesome!!! The orange color does make it stand out like highliter on a book. Hindsight, you could've swapped hoods with the 8.1 so you could get the hood you wanted on the stepside and have it wraped, but no biggie, a hood will turn up soon; you'll probably be able to locate one at LS Fest with all the people that you'll meet there. thumbs up and best of luck at LS Fest.

Word of caution on the 3bar OS on a P59. The P59’s I’ve put a 2 bar OS on, cuts the fuel table resolution in half, in that there are the same number of rows for 0-210 kpa as there was for the 1 bar 0-105. Going to 3 bar makes it that much worse. P01 ecm will give you 3x the rows as a p59. But plugging a p01 ecm into a blue green harness will require re-pinning.

Awesome video! We just installed the e85 sensor in our build as well( NNBS 4.8 78/75). It’s pretty intense seeing the timing on e85 when you’re used to pump gas lol. Would definitely like to setup a race sometime!

I have a 07 Classic with a stock L59 and I was surprised by 2 things. 1. How noticeable the power gain was with E85. 2. How unbelievably bad the milage was. But even at 5.19 a gallon here in Washington state its well worth it 🇺🇲

Have an L59 in my Tahoe, the E85 difference is nuts. I have a tune as well and it really wakes the truck up! but like you said the mpg is horrible lol. Worth the power once and a while.

@@MeowTbss When I fill up with E85 my engine is happy. It may all be in my imagination but it just runs better and smoother on it. I do have to drive about 20 minutes out of my way to get it and it cost the same as 92 but its well worth it in my opinion. I wish I could tune it but im only familiar with the Diablo tuner and if you have a aftermarket radio or alarm the Diablo don't work. I'd love to add some timing but I can't 😞

The new color of COPO Truck looks really great. Orange is also my favorite color, a great color choice. The E85 is an awesome fuel, it's the perfect fuel for a turbo or supercharged car. My previous turbo car, no GM truck and no LS engine, but I changed it to E85 and it brought a huge more torque. I used RedLine E85 additive with fuel. It lubricates and protects the gas pump and nozzles, ethanol is a solvent and they suffer from a lack of lubrication over time. It also prevents bio-vegetation that is formed with biofuels into the fuel system. A separate E85 meter would be good. In my own car, I saw the ethanol content directly from my cell phone wirelessly. I don't think your 4L60E gearbox will last the torque you have in COPO Truck now. Just continue your great project, I look forward next to 4L80E mod.

The truck looks awesome. My only suggestion in the looks department, although might be a little late, a small cowl induction hood. Like the 69 COPO Camaro and that black part on the hood should be on the cowl. Maybe the "Cowl Induction" emblem on either side of the cowl scoop like the 1970 Chevelle SS had. Just my 2 cents.

@@hcut2k4 I was thinking more back to the COPO Camaro. Just a small 2" cowl or so. It just always stuck in my mind when I think COPO. I think of the camaro with no badges or emblems. The only thing that really distinguished a COPO camaro from a base model was the cowl hood. The other option I was thinking was maybe the ZL1 hood that Streetconcept1 makes.
