Thank you so much Clara. I enjoyed this video. Our college taught us not to needle Ren 17 so this has been a big learning curve for me. Discussing this with other acupuncturists has opened my eyes to what an amazing point this is and how beneficial. I'm just sad that I didn't use it all those years.

Loved and learned every minute of it. Thank you again. That really cleared up a lot of things where you explained about different layers of meridians especially on luo connecting point and collaterals and how and where they are usually located and connected. Things are starting to make a bit more sense slowly. And also thank you for reminding about Yin and Yang balance. Your Yang Qi is very cheerful and makes me concentrate on learning naturally. Definitely you’d need some Yin time to balance, it’s a really good real life example to remind newbies. 😊

Hello ma, please between acupuncture and wet cupping which one is the most effective and why ma? Thanks for all you do for the community 🙏 ❤

Hey Clara Love your stuff. If you have a moment could you tell me anything about someone who has had their Spleen removed from an accident.Or where to get TCM guideance for this subject.
@Acuproacademy3 жыл бұрын
Any physical organ removed means the energy of the Organ is still there but weaker (deficiency) and there is stagnation. Also it depletes KD Essence 🙏

First week in the first year of Master of Acupuncture course here 😊 it may be very obvious and basic but are meridians or channels or Jing the same as central and peripheral neurological and vascular systems? Luo being the superficial part of peripheral neurological and vascular systems that connect with Jing? Does Qi flow in the same pathway as the blood vessels and nervous or neural pathways as we know it in western medicine?
@Acuproacademy Жыл бұрын
Great question 🥰 there is so similarities yes, but you need to let go of your western medicine knowledge first, embrace the tcm meridian pathways and you’ll enjoy the learning journey much better 💗 Qi is everywhere in the body, it’s energy, so it’s moves blood within the vessels yes, but carry out also electro impulses, fires up neurons… Once you know your TCM meridians well, your points locations & functions, you can start correlating them to western medicine 😉 may the force be with you Young Skywalker 💜
@COYS111 Жыл бұрын
@@Acuproacademy thanks very much for your insights, I really appreciate it. I totally get what you mean. I’ve been pondering about this by myself this entire week and I also sort of came to a conclusion after I left this reply that there might be some overlapping areas of central and peripheral neurological and vascular systems but I can’t always think in terms of that because they are 4000 years old and blood vessels were only discovered in 16th century or something. So I thought to myself I have to let the previous knowledge of western medicine go and just embrace it to start learning from the very beginning. Then I thought like you said there might be some similarities that I might be able to relate to when I learn and know a lot more. Anyway thanks again for your insights and concise advice, it does really clarify and make me feel better. 😊

@Acuproacademy Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately TCM doesn’t work that way, we treat the person as a whole, not the disorder. We look at the root cause & address it! We look at the tongue, observe the skin, eyes, hair...we take the pulse, ask questions on sleep, digestion, diet, immune system...and then we make a TCM diagnosis and create a treatment plan accordingly 🙏
